Goodmorning Handlers
We start classes on Tuesday 14 / 18 January. Ends 22 March 2025 .

Tuesday's one on one 30 minute classes.
1. You arrive 5 min. Before the time.
2. Walk your dog on leash along the fence.
3. Unpack your water bowl, dog blanket etc. And get yourself in a calm state.

Dogs on the field .
1. Handlers give your commands before the time AND KEEP THE FOCUS.
2. Leave in a calm state by putting your dog in the vechile and then pack up.

Canine Good citizen exam in beginning of March for the group dogs.
Plse let me know.
We have bronze, silver and gold.
Start practising taking your dog to the vet and just sit there. Avoid any altercations.

Rabies Alert
URGENT NOTICE

Overberg DM Disaster Management cautions public to stay away from seals due to a confirmed rabies case in the Cape Town area.

We are advising the public to stay away from seals as far as possible, and with immediate effect.

The Western Cape Provincial Veterinary Services has confirmed on, 7 June 2024, that a Cape Fur Seal off the coast at Big Bay has tested positive for rabies. This seal died on 22 May 2024 and the laboratory results came in earlier yesterday.

As such, the public must take extra precaution to stay away from Cape Fur Seals as far as possible, and to not, under any circumstances, allow their dogs close to these animals. This precaution applies and focusses on the entire Cape Peninsula coastline but may spread to the Overberg Coastline so we are asking the public to be cautious on our coast.

Any person bitten by a seal is urged to seek immediate medical attention, and to notify the relevant authorities. The same applies to any pet bitten by a seal.

The authorities will keep on investigating and keep the public informed.
