🚫 FIREWORKS ⚠️
Please make sure your animals are safe and kept inside on New Years Eve.
🐾Those who are celebrating please abide to the law by being respectful to your neighbours, all animals, police, SPCA, etc.
🙏🏻💜Please take the necessary procautions to protect your animals from the fireworks:
🐾One way to ensure that your pet will be more relaxed and calm on New Year’s Eve is to tire them out a bit during the day. Take your regular dog walks, and go a little bit extra. Be extra cautious though as sadly some people test out fireworks ahead of New Year’s Eve, or set them off even before it’s dark out. Loud noises (especially a sudden bang) might scare your dog and trigger their instinct to run away. So please keep your dog on a leash.
🐾Take new pics of your pets, just in case they go missing, in order to help network and be reunited with you.
🐾Make sure your pets microchip details are up to date.
🐾Make sure your contact details on your pets ID tag are correct and updated.
🐾Make a list of all emergency vet, animal welfare organisation's telephone numbers, keep in a place easily at hand.
🐾Get Calming tablets or liquid from your local vet or pet supplies store.
🐾 Keep pets INDOORS and switch the TV/Radio on with soft music.
🐾Ensure the presence of at least one family member around your pets throughout the evening.
🐾 Create a safe space for your pets with a blanket.
🐕🐾🐈🐾🐇🐾🐓🐾🐐 🐾🐦
Now that you know what to do on New Year’s Eve to keep your dog safe and sound – we wish you a happy New years eve celebration.
Thank you.

Do you remember little Izzy who was run over by a car and left without help by her owners for several days, her leg was pinned and we thought that she would recover but sadly the pin worked it’s way out and the bone hadn’t healed and Izzy’s leg had to be amputated but Izzy is a brave little girl and with the support of Doggy Paddle - Animal Hydrotherapy Centre and the kind people there she is gaining enough strength in her right hind leg to support her body.
It’s a miracle to watch how Izzy is improving under the expert guidance and knowledge of the therapists working there and we thank all the staff at “Doggy Paddle” for the wonderful work they do and for their dedication and support for little Izzy.
