Over the past 2 months August’s Patient of the Month has become a friend to everyone at the clinic. With her fiery spirit, never give up attitude and an amazing family supporting her every step of the way; this wonderful girl has made a full recovery.
She is one cool cat and we are so proud of her.

We are absolutely smitten for Smudge.
With a Labrador mother and German Shepherd father, this beautiful boy is sweet, gentle natured and smart as a whip. A lover of everything and everyone, Smudge enjoys stealing socks, playing with his older brother and most importantly food.
He arrived for his next round of vaccs which he took like a champ.
He left with a wagging tail and the remnants of a treat around his lips😉

When we think about July’s Patient of the Month, a few words spring to mind such as happy, joyful, merry, cheerful, jovial, jolly, jubilant etc. All of this to say, she is happy and she makes everyone around her happy💚

These two lovely little ladies are sisters from the same litter. So they look a lot alike but, they are not alike.
Leeya is full of energy and mischief while Maya is the more levelheaded one but, she is still a willing participant in her sister’s schemes😉

And in our case when we hear purring we know to think Zebbie and not a jet engine 😉
This lovely little lady is a sweetheart with purrs that rival a jet engine. She is doing so well and we are so proud.
She has become a friend to all of us at Melville Vet.

Lovely and lively Lilly came for her vaccinations today which went swimmingly. Afterwards she familiarised herself with the new sights and smells of reception. And then it was off home, ready for the weekend fun to begin

Monday came in for his very first vaccination, observing his surroundings snuggled up in his owner’s arms.
Why the name Monday?
Well the day Monday was named after the moon and is known as the moon’s day or the day of the moon.
Hopefully Monday won’t start howling at the moon when he gets older😉

I adopted Angel in February 2022. Since I am from Cape Town originally when I was concerned about patches of hair missing I had no idea what to do. A colleague told me wonderful things about Melville Vet and the rest is history.
Myself and Angel are forever grateful to you guys. Not only for giving her the best treatment and care but for helping this first time furbaby mommy become brave for being a parent.
Her full name is Angel Gabriels named after my late grandma. Angel has a special birthday which is from the 21st of Dec till 21 Jan because we don't know her exact date of birth.
She is loved by all that meets her and is very protective of those she calls family 🫶
