Boston Terrier Rescue is made up of a small group of dedicated volunteers from around the country. Together we rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, unwanted, neglected and surrendered dogs of any age. We network extensively and spread the word about Boston’s in shelters, take fosters into our own homes and conduct extensive home checks to ensure that when we re-home a dog, it is for life. W

Loving Home Needed for Remy

Remy is a 7-year-old bundle of energy with the softest, sweetest nature. She is urgently seeking her forever family in KZN and must be the only dog at home, with no other pets.

If you’re interested in adopting her, please email [email protected] for an application form.

Remy’s Ideal Home:

- A gentle family or active, retired couple who can walk her regularly and include her in outings.
- She’s good with respectful children.
- No other dogs or cats, as she’s still recovering from past trauma and pain.

Remy’s Special Traits:

- Fully housetrained and walks beautifully on a lead.
- Recalls well and loves long walks to explore.
- A little character ready to bloom with love and understanding!

She has been vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, and microchipped. BTAG - Boston Terrier Action Group - BTAG: Rescue, Rehab and Rehome. will cover her ongoing care for existing health needs.

Fostered in the Midlands, with preference for applicants in the area (KZN). Her adoption fee is R1000. Home checks apply.

Please don’t just drive past 😞 Hand the doggy over to any vet or SPCA in the area and inform us so we can try locate the owner. Currently we have no info on the whereabouts of this doggy.

UPDATE: Apparently he doesn’t let anyone near him - the neighbours have tried but they giving him food and water. We have asked the SPCA for assistance.

Guess who made a new friend? Panda!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve worked closely with him while staying at the kennels, and he is doing so well! He walks nicely on a lead and gets along well with social dogs. He isn’t high energy like his friend here and pretty chilled doing his own thing! A garden is a must.

We are confident that we can rehome Panda with a social Bostie (no cats, no small children). Panda doesn’t like being touched on his head or held around his neck—something a small child might not understand (not negotiable).

Early in the new year, we will start meet-and-greets for Panda in Centurion, in person. If you’d like to consider meeting him with your doggy, please complete the form, and we will get in touch with you.

Sweet girl Bubbles will see the vet today for her 1st set of tests. Full blood count and Thyroid test plus an exam.

Then from there we will schedule the Cushings test next week.

Bubbles Needs Our Help

This season, we have just one wish: for Bubbles to get the test she needs 🎄

Bubbles, one of our rescues, is now 10 years old, and we suspect she may have Cushing's disease. All the signs are there. Unfortunately, the only way to confirm this diagnosis is through a test that costs R3,500 and then she would be able to start medication.

Bubbles holds a special place in our hearts ♥️ and we really do believe we can help her. With a timely diagnosis, there’s a very good chance we can manage the condition before it progresses further, giving her a much better quality of life. She could still have two happy years in her home!

Panda is a gorgeous Bostie boy, only 2 years old.

Panda urgently needs a foster or forever home in Gauteng, no pets and no small kids please 🙏🏻

This sweet boy has had a tough couple of weeks since his surrender, but he’s starting to come out of his shell. We just need to get him into a loving home as soon as possible ♥️.

Panda isn’t good with other dogs also cannot be placed in a home with small children as he struggles with boundaries—this was the reason for his surrender.

Please help us find Panda a home by sharing this post. If the perfect home comes along and you have plans to travel this December, we can arrange to board him temporarily—don’t let that stop you from applying to adopt this special boy.

Panda is a gorgeous Bostie boy, only 2 years old, who was surrendered to us two weeks ago.

Panda urgently needs a foster or forever home in Gauteng, no pets and no small kids please 🙏🏻

This sweet boy has had a tough couple of weeks since his surrender, but he’s starting to come out of his shell. We just need to get him into a loving home as soon as possible ♥️. Currently, Panda is staying at the boarding kennels because we have nowhere else for him to go.

Panda isn’t good with other dogs at the moment, so we’re looking for a home without other pets. Before anyone criticises this requirement, please understand that he needs time to adjust and be worked with to determine if he can eventually live with other dogs. This process simply isn’t possible in a kennel environment. Panda also cannot be placed in a home with small children as he struggles with boundaries—this was the reason for his surrender.

A cross Bostie puppy - one of our very urgent ‘immediate’ surrenders yesterday in CT. She’s just the cutest little thing and plays her heart out! We are in love ♥️🐾 Soon she will need a new home, but first steri & vacs next week. PS. I don’t think foster mom had much chance of making the bed this morning 😂
