As jou kat nies, trane of ‘n loopneus het, kan dit wees dat hy of sy Snuffels het – ’n algemene bo-lugweginfeksie by katte.

Algemene simptome sluit in:
🔸 Niesbuie
🔸 Waterige oë of oogafskeiding
🔸 Loopneus of toe neus
🔸 Lusteloosheid
🔸 Verlies aan eetlus
🔸 Koors of mondseer (soms)

Winter is hier – sorg dat jou troeteldiere warm en gesond bly!

Die koue maande kan uitdagend wees vir beide binnens- én buitenshuise troeteldiere. Hier is ‘n paar wenke om jou harige vriende veilig en gemaklik te hou:

Vir binnenshuise troeteldiere:

Maak seker hulle slaap op ‘n warm, droë plek – weg van trek en koue vloere.

Gee hulle ‘n ekstra kombers of ‘n sagte bedjie vir meer warmte.

Hou hul oefening op dreef – speel binnenshuis indien dit buite te koud is.

Vir buitenshuise troeteldiere:

Hulle moet toegang hê tot ‘n winddigte skuiling met warm komberse of strooi.

Waterbakke moet nie vries nie – gebruik plastiekbakke en vervang gereeld die water.

Beheer jou troeteldier se dieet – hulle mag dalk meer energie benodig om warm te bly.

Onthou: Ouer diere en diere met dun hare is ekstra vatbaar vir koue – oorweeg dit om hulle binnenshuis te hou of ‘n troeteldier-truitjie aan te trek.

Bly bewus van tekens van onderkoeling soos bewing, lusteloosheid en koue ore of pote. Kontak ons dadelik as jy onseker is!
