Fallen Angels (NPO number 175 638) was founded in February 2014 by a few devoted people; already active within the animal rescue and rehabilitation circuits. The ‘FALLEN’ in Fallen Angels stands for Forgotten, Abandoned (Abused), Lost, Lonely, Emaciated and Neglected. Any animal that falls under these categories is considered a ‘Fallen Angel’ and thus falls within the area of importance for this o

rganization. The organization focuses on not only the rescuing and fostering of animals, but also using them to help rehabilitate and offer therapy to children. They have created a haven – rehabilitating and fostering animals there. Their funding is entirely donation and sponsorship-based. The organization works within the Western Cape area. They are currently based in Melkbosstrand but extend their help to wherever it may be needed within the surrounding areas. They often work in partnership and collaboration with various other societies and NGO’s also existing in the surrounding areas and the communities to improve the quality of life of their four legged friends. Once the animals are rehabilitated they are put up for adoption at Adoption Days.

Female, about 2 years old
Smaller side of medium in size
Super lovable with people
Her favourite is cuddling with humans

We see sooo much but some days our hearts break more than others.

When we saw this dear mamma and her babies abandoned in a park in Milnerton we couldn't help but take them in. Her scared and confused eyes - pleading for kindness and help - tore on our heartstrings. Not knowing what was going to happen to her and her babies. Fear on a level none of us know.

No mommy should ever have to go through this. We have named her Ixia and she has 7 girls and 2 boy chubby little puppies.

She is going to get vet checked and put on a nutritious and healthy diet and given any medical care needed. She can now relax with her babies and enjoy worry-free days nursing her cutie pie babies. More pics and videos in comments.

Our senior boy Stewart needs a comfy cozy retirement home. He is the sweetest old gent who is just happy snoozing for most of the day until it's time for foodies or a walk. We cannot even imagine what he might have been through in his past prior to joining us one year ago. 💔

But we know his life can be even better - with YOU !!

Stewart is already 10 years old and we would love for someone to make his remaining life heaven on earth. He is low in energy and absolutely adorable with his few remaining teeth, just the dearest senior dog around. Good with other dogs by intro. Please consider making Stewart part of your family, he is just so sweet. Can be tested for cats.

If you cannot include Stewart in your life please give him a share instead. 🙏

AND REMEMBER: Every adopted dog opens up a space for one in need waiting to be rescued and rehabilitated.

Our food store is nearly empty and we desperately need dry dog food donations. Our dogs go through 120kgs of kibble a day.

The organization focuses on the rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming of these animals. They have created a haven – rehabilitating and fostering animals there. Their funding is entirely donation and sponsorship-based. The organization works within the Western Cape area. They are currently based in Melkbosstrand but extend their help to wherever it may be needed within the surrounding areas. They often work in partnership and collaboration with various other societies and NGO’s also existing in the surrounding areas such as: DAISY, Dancers Love Dogs, SA MASS, Tin Can Town, Mitchells Plein Animal Welfare, PETS, LEAPS Animal Protection Services and Pawfriends, just to name a few. Once the animals are rehabilitated they are put up for adoption at Adoption Days and on social media.

They currently rehome approximately 350 rescued animals a year,
