They often work in partnership and collaboration with various other societies and NGO’s also existing in the surrounding areas and the communities to improve the quality of life of their four legged friends. Once the animals are rehabilitated they are put up for adoption at Adoption Days.

🎄🎅 SANTA IS COMING TO MELKBOS! 🎅🎄

Christmas is just around the corner, and our furry friends at the Melkbosstrand Farm are bursting with excitement! On December 24th, we’ll be unwrapping gifts, and they need your help to make this holiday extra special.

Our doggies and kitties have created their very own wishlist, and we’re hoping you’ll pick a gift (or two!) for them. Here’s how you can help:
1️⃣ Choose a furry friend from one of the wishlist cards below. 2️⃣ Let us know which pet you’ve picked so we can tick it off our list. 3️⃣ Deliver or order the gift by December 18th.

The lovely Mia van Zyl who is a finalist in the Teen Miss Western Province dropped by the farm today to drop off her donations which she collected and to also spend some time with our fluffies. Thank you so much for thinking of us Mia. We hope you enjoyed your day on the farm and all the furbaby cuddles. 🙏❤️⭐️

Good evening all,

Another day of meetings, e-mails and phone calls and we can definitely say that we are going to appeal the City of Cape Town's decision.

Through this process however, we have become aware of the fact that the animals in our care will be in jeopardy in the event of an emergency at Koeberg and this however now plays heavily on our minds as well.

We are blessed to have access to another base property but this is vacant land, and still remains uncertain.

Keeping our animals safe and our foster drive to house some of our animals in this uncertain time is what we are currently working or, please contact us if you can assist in any way at all.

Unfortunately this is all we can tell you at this time. Our situation is changing all the time, we promise to update you on our situation going forward.

🐾 After-hours surrender of 3 poor starving, malnourished and emaciated dogs. No-where to go, No-one wants them! We are ALL FULL ( it's the sad reality of all shelters) The owner cannot feed them anymore. And have only been managing a little food every few days! We the second stop, they can't go home! What is thr next option - dumped in the bush!? Bella is 13 YEARS OLD! to now be UNWANTED and UNLOVED! Breaks our hearts. CODY is 6 years old. Small breed. Should get a home. LULU is 3 years old but sadly for her, she is a pitti, so her potential homes are limited! Luckily she is friendly, very small in size and dog friendly so that's good! WE HAVE NO SPACE FOR THESE DOGS OR MONEY FOR THEIR CARE! Please Please Please help us! We are really begging! Can you maybe foster? Especially the old girl? At 13 she doesn't have too long to go. We would love someone to give her a year or two of love and care. We will bath them tomorrow and with a few regular meals they will improve. They in an emergency camp but really cannot stay too long. Our Story

Fallen Angels (NPO number 175 638) was founded in February 2014 by a few devoted people; already active within the animal rescue and rehabilitation circuits. The ‘FALLEN’ in Fallen Angels stands for Forgotten, Abandoned (Abused), Lost, Lonely, Emaciated and Neglected. Any animal that falls under these categories is considered a ‘Fallen Angel’ and thus falls within the area of importance for this organization. Their current slogan is “From Torn to Reborn”. The organization focuses on the rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming of these animals. They have created a haven – rehabilitating and fostering animals there. Their funding is entirely donation and sponsorship-based. The organization works within the Western Cape area. They are currently based in Melkbosstrand but extend their help to wherever it may be needed within the surrounding areas. They often work in partnership and collaboration with various other societies and NGO’s also existing in the surrounding areas such as: DAISY, Dancers Love Dogs, SA MASS, Tin Can Town, Mitchells Plein Animal Welfare, PETS, LEAPS Animal Protection Services and Pawfriends, just to name a few. Once the animals are rehabilitated they are put up for adoption at Adoption Days and on social media.

They currently rehome approximately 350 rescued animals a year,
