I want to thank my tireless team for their hard work and dedication, last night, during the fireworks. The worst year ever.

Lisa, Polite, Thomas, Russell, Rowan, Isaac, Petrus, Shorty, John and Jean.

They were in the Manderston Kennels. from 22.30, when the fireworks started and finally went to bed at 1 30am. They nursed, cuddled, held your dogs. They treated them with rescue medication. Russell even slept with the Bostons, in their run. Just before midnight we gave them all treats to chew. Hopefully creating a distraction. We had a number of the very serious cases in crates, in the house, treated and covered with blankets. Music playing to assist in drown out the noise.

Thomas sat with my dogs on their area to insure they were all safe. I was the inside person wth petrified rescue dogs.

The staff rotated continually. To ensure their safety.

Our hearts go out to the animals who were not so lucky.

Please consider the animals around you. It is no joke to see how these poor
Animals go berserk. They do not understand.

To all who sent off fireworks.

SHAME ON YOU. YOU ARE INVITED TO SPEND TiME IN OUR KENNELS NEXT YEAR AND WITNESS WHAT YOUR SELFISHNESS DOES.

Clover. ☘️

Clover is a mastiff mix female looking for her very own family.

Clover gets on with other dogs but prefers larger, quieter dogs as she is quite a chilled girl herself. She has the most beautiful colouring, almost like a blue grey with beautiful gold eyes. Clover is a large breed dog with a docked tail - we rescued her from Dieplsoot like that. She also doesn’t mind cats. 🙂

Clover is vaccinated and sterilised and her deworming is up to date.

Strict home checks and adoption fee’s apply.

SADLY, THE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO READ THIS WILL NOT.
Shelters and rescues are overflowing.
There is just nowhere for the animals to go.
Be responsible.
To the Public. An open letter,
You are breaking the strongest people I've ever met.
You, with your broken fence whose dogs get out and you don't go to the shelter to pick them up.
You, with that new baby so no more room for your "best friend."
You, who needs to go on vacation but doesn't want to pay for boarding.
You, who didn't vaccinate so rescuers pour their heart, soul, and wallet into watching YOUR cat/dog die in their arms or on the vet table.
You, who didn't spay your cat/dog so she's pregnant and you can't deal with it so you drop her at the shelter or call animal control.
You, who stands in line for two and half hours to surrender your cat/dog to an overfull shelter where owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized.
You, who dumps defenceless kittens/puppies in a field.
You, who throws kittens/puppies out your window as you drive down the freeway.
You, who buys from a puppy-mill or pet store when moms, puppies, juveniles, and adults were euthanized this morning at just one shelter among hundreds.
You, who just don't care about the living, breathing, feeling animals who depend on us to be their voice.
The strongest people I know are breaking, because of you.
And I don't know what to tell them.
There is nothing to say.
*WE* are those people breaking.

This is Bear. He is disabled. Has damage to is lower spine. He gers up and moves around, very quickly I might add. He is fantastic with new incoming rescue pups. He's the big brother. He is available to the right home. The most amazing temperament.

This is Snowy. Our resident Hybrid. He was rescued from a family, where he was being manhandled some children and he was being very destructive and dismantling their home. He is very destructive and does not like the Staff. His temperament is definitely more wolf than dog.

This is Popcorn. Popcorn came to us at 9 weeks. She had no hair and was every thin. She is now recovered and the most aggressive dog on the property. There for ahe has been deemed one of the "Unhomeables"
