1st pony club morning at our new venue. Also the first pony club where nearly all the riders families chose to stay and watch the fun and games. Hmmm that’s cool . . . looks like the new club house and the peaceful paddocks are working their magic on everyone 😂🐴💕

We see that some visitors to our page are confusing the Riet River Riding Club with the 3 Sisters Horse Trails, which was closed in September last year.

Check out our riding club info below to see what we are all about, before contacting us to make a booking.

We offer leases to experienced riders who want to ride regularly and bond with a special horse, without the time commitment and expense of owning a horse of their own. For beginners- if you are keen to learn a new skill - sign up for some riding lessons in our new arena (available from December).

We will be moving to new purpose built facilities on Tharfield Farm in December. Contact us if you want to get involved.

RDA is moving and developing in an interesting way . . .

Following the pandemic, the nation’s mental health suffered significantly. The numbers of those suffering with loneliness, anxiety and depression remain higher than pre-pandemic levels and many are still struggling to return to going out in public.

For many of our RDA family - from participants, parents, and volunteers - being unable to access horses and RDA activities has significantly impacted their mental and physical health.

RDA is dedicated to helping participants return to RDA activities, and introduce more people to the mental health benefits of interacting with horses.
This also goes for our volunteers. We want to encourage volunteers who haven’t felt confident enough to return to a safe and caring environment, as well as encouraging more people to volunteer with us as a chance to help with their mental health.

As part of our 3-year strategy, we will be introducing new activities designed for benefitting mental wellbeing , as well as driving volunteer recruitment to those wanting to find a gentle environment to improve their confidence and overall mental wellbeing.

Miss Molly joined our herd in February and we chose this stunning misty, cool Sunday morning to introduce her to the beach. She tackled the steep sand dune and the surf at the low tide line like a star 👏🌊💫Well done Lily and Miss Molly!

We have received messages over the last few months asking what we do at the Club. We also receive frequent requests to book beach rides with 3 Sisters Horse Trails.

Just to confirm again - the business 3 Sisters Horse Trails was closed permanently in September 2021 and no longer offers Beach Trails to the public.
