An elephant and a dog became pregnant at same time. Three months down the line the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months later the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.

On the eighteenth month the dog approached the elephant questioning, "Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date, I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. Whats going on?". The elephant replied, "There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. So what I'm carrying is mighty and great."

Moral Of The Story.

Don't lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers. Don't be envious of others testimony.
If you haven't received your own blessings, don't despair. Say to yourself "My time is coming, and when it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration."

PLEASE HELP ROCKI!

Rocki is an adorable, 11yr old neutered, healthy pittie X. He was dropped off at a friends home in Paarl and never collected. They have taken really good care of him, walking him and giving him his own garden for 10 yrs.
He has been loved, protected and cared for. Now they will be relocating to the UK and unfortunately they cannot take him with them as they are taking 4 of their own dogs.

With your help, Rocki will not find himself homeless or abandoned again. ROCKI DESPERATELY needs a wonderful, loving home with NO other pets/animals. He is great with people - he adores his humans and just wants lots of love in return. He needs someone who will spoil him and walk him in his twilight years. He is very active and loves his walks. He is the sweetest little boy with loads of s***k and love to give!

New Year's Eve is just around the corner. Despite the City of Cape Town's good intentions to limit fireworks and gatherings, the reality is that there may still be fireworks set off.

Dog's and cat's sense of hearing is magnitudes more sensitive than ours meaning that fireworks and crackers are truly terrifying to them. Unfortunately, many pets sustain life threatening injuries whiles trying to escape from firework noise. It can engage their flight mode and they can get lost or injured.

Please assure that all pets and animals are kept secured before, during and after fireworks. Sitting with your pets can assist in helping them keep calm. Animals experiencing fear can injury themselves in attempts to flee. It is best to keep your animals indoors.

The importance of microchipping your pets cannot be understated! Protect your pet today by getting them microchipped. Microchipped cats are 20x more likely to be reunited with their families and microchipped dogs are 2.5x more likely to find their way home. A lost pet without a chip has a less than 10% chance of being returned to its owner.
