In Loving Memory of Jean Munro

Save-a-Pet wishes to express our heartfelt sorrow at the passing of past committee member, Jean Munro. Jean’s love for the welfare of animals was a true passion that guided everything she did. As a dedicated member of our Committee, she gave generously of her time, knowledge, and care to ensure the smooth running of Save-a-Pet.

Jean’s incredible expertise in administration and her commitment to keeping every detail in order helped strengthen the foundation of our organisation. Her diligence and devotion behind the scenes made an immeasurable difference, ensuring that Save-a-Pet could continue its mission to care for and protect animals in need.

Jean will be sorely missed by all of us, and by the many animals whose lives were touched through her kindness and commitment. Her legacy of compassion and service will remain a lasting part of Save-a-Pet.

Our thoughts are with her family at this time.

URGENT HOME NEEDED

Gravvy's family has sadly fallen on hard times and has to move in with family where they are unable to take him with. (Please no nasty comments, circumstances are beyond their control) He needs a new home by 27 November.

Gravvy (Save-a-Pet name: Bang) is almost 9 months old. Medium size. All vaccs up-to-date, neutered and microchipped. He attended puppy classes at Across The Breeds.

He is amazing with people/kids
He loves playing with other dogs
Good at sharing toys and treats
Well trained with walking on a leash
He knows cues like bed, sit, paw, stay and wee wee before bed time
He enjoys food bowl puzzles
He comes when he is called - he knows his name very well
Very relaxed driving in the car
Enjoys vegetables and isn’t fussy with food but he is on Jock at the moment which he seems to be enjoying
Very cuddly
Very energetic so he does enjoying being part of family activities like going to the beach
He is also very good around other types of animals birds/ chickens
He is okay with noises eg vaccum cleaners
He is soft and has no ounce of aggression or anger towards anything or anyone
He isn’t food possessive at all he is comfortable with people touching his bowl and giving him pets while eating.

Application and adoption through Save-a-Pet. We are willing to waive the adoption fee for the right home.
