🐾 Kitten Rescue Update! 🐾

We’re thrilled to share that the last two kittens from our recent rescue mission are now safe and sound in foster care! That makes four little lives saved — three sweet girls and one brave ginger boy. 💕
They’re still a bit scared (can you blame them?), but already starting to relax when held. It’s amazing what a little love, warmth, and patience can do. 💞
However, our ginger boy needs urgent help. He was rushed to the vet today with a severe intestinal blockage. The veterinary team will do everything they can to help him pull through. Please keep this little fighter in your thoughts. 🧡🙏
We’ll keep everyone updated on his condition. If you'd like to support his care or future rescues like this, donations are always deeply appreciated. (Bank details below)
Thank you for being part of their journey to safety. 💖

🐾 Rescue Update – A Day of Progress & Hope 🐾
Today was a big day! We set out to rescue four kittens, and while we only managed to catch two of them, we also brought in two adult males—one of whom, the ginger, is most definitely Daddy! 💛
All four cats are safe tonight and the adults will be sterilized tomorrow before being returned to their colony. That said… the tabby and white male seems to have other plans—he’s made himself very comfortable in the office and is clearly enjoying the indoor life! 😄
We’ll be back out tomorrow to try again for the two remaining kittens—and there’s now a surprise newcomer on our radar: a tabby teenager we hadn’t seen before. Fingers crossed we can bring them all in safely! 🙏
✨ FOSTER NEEDED ✨We urgently need a foster home for the two kittens we did catch today—for just the next 2 weeks! They're safe but need a quiet, loving space to recover, socialize, and grow.
If you can help, please send us a message ASAP via WhatsApp to 0829901426. Every little bit makes a world of difference. 💕
Thank you for your continued support, shares, and kindness. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s update! 🐱❤️

🚨 RESCUE ALERT 🚨
These three tiny treasures were found huddled in a Spaza shop, being kept as “rodent control.” But what we found were not pest control officers — just the sweetest, most loving little souls with the biggest, neediest hearts and the most magical pixie faces you’ve ever seen. 💔🐾
They meow for attention. They just want to be loved.
But… they’re black. 😿 And unfortunately, that means they’ll struggle to find homes. There’s still so much silly superstition around black cats — and we honestly can’t understand it. These kittens are pure magic. 🖤✨
Let’s break the stigma. Share their story. Adopt a mini house panther. Give love to the ones the world overlooks.📅 Available for adoption now!
Phone 0829583962 to meet them 😻

🚨 A Twist We Didn't Expect… 🐾💔➡️💡
A sweet stray cat has been visiting a business premises for food. The kind people there have been feeding her regularly, and we recently stepped in to ensure she was sterilized, which was done on Friday. She was returned to the premises this morning.
The vet hadn’t found any signs of pregnancy or lactation, but suspected she may have nursed kittens a few weeks ago. We feared the worst—that maybe the kittens hadn’t survived. 💔
But then, as we released her back at the premises today, one of the workers casually mentioned having seen kittens in a corner of the yard—though he couldn’t recall when exactly.
Before we could even move, mom cat darted off, jumped over the wall, and disappeared. Instinctively, we climbed up to see where she was going...
And there they were.
🧡 Four tiny kittens, tucked away in a dangerous yard full of scrap metal. Our hearts dropped at the thought that they’d been waiting all this time for her to come back—alone, in that environment.
The premises are closed over the weekend, but we’ll be back first thing Monday, and we hope to be granted access to try to trap them. It’s not going to be easy—there’s scrap everywhere, and these little ones are in a place no kitten should grow up.
✨ Please keep these babies in your thoughts—we’ll do everything we can to get them to safety.
If you'd like to help with donations toward food and vet care, please reach out. Every effort brings us closer to saving more lives. 💕

🚨 From the Streets to Safety 🐾💔➡️💖
A few weeks ago, a mama cat and her kittens were spotted sitting helplessly in City Centre. Mom looked completely perplexed and the kittens were clearly hungry. Despite the story circulating widely on Facebook, no one had managed to trap them. They scrounged for scraps, surviving day by day.
Fast forward two and a half weeks—and they were still out there.
We thought they had been rescued long ago! When we heard, we couldn’t sit back any longer. We went down immediately with traps. While we thought there were three kittens, we were heartbroken to learn one had been hit by a car. 💔 We managed to safely trap Mom and the remaining two kittens, and they went into loving foster care.
We left our contact details with people in the area, just in case…
This morning, we got a call. Another kitten had been seen—same spot. When we arrived, residents told us there might be two more still out there. One was very shy and rarely seen. We were able to trap a black-and-white kitten, and we’re committed to going back for the last little one. 🖤🤍
While we were setting up, a family approached us. They had seen two very thin kittens near Feather Market Hall. We went straight there—and found them huddled on the pavement. Dirty, miserable, and starving. 😢 It didn’t take long for them to go into the trap—they were so hungry.
Tonight, three more precious lives are safe in foster care. ✨
We’re not done yet. One kitten is still out there—and we won’t stop until they're safe too. 💪
To everyone who helps by spreading the word, donating, or offering foster space—thank you. This is what compassion looks like.
🖤 If you’d like to support our ongoing rescue efforts, please reach out or consider donating. Every little bit helps save lives.

🐾 Meet Our Newest Street Sweetheart! 🐾

This lovely lady has been turning heads at a local business where she recently showed up, looking for a little love (and maybe a snack or two! 😺). Thankfully, the kind folks there have taken her under their wing and are happy to keep feeding her.

We're making sure she gets the care she needs — she's heading in for sterilization tomorrow, so she can live a safer, healthier life without adding to the stray population. 💜

A huge thank you to the business for showing compassion, and to our amazing supporters who help us make a difference every day ✨

Hi, we are either up for adoption or outreach animals at Nine Lives Cat Foundation. You can sponsor us a gift. R250 and the volunteers at Santa Cause for Paws will shop and pack the perfect gift for me or an animal similar to me. For now these will go out over Christmas, unless the charities want them sooner - we will work with charities to see what they would like.

UPDATE: ROKA UNFORTUNATELY DEVELOPED EARLY STAGE KIDNEY FAILURE AND THE DECISION HAD TO BE MADE. WE ARE HEARTBROKEN 💔

Update on Roka:

She’s been at the vet since the 19th May and has turned from thought-to-be feral into the most darling, loving, purring, precious girl.
But here's the tough part: Roka can’t stay at the vet forever. She still has two more treatments to go, and what she really needs right now is a foster home or, even better, her forever family. 🏡
Please help us give Roka the future this old girl deserves. If you’ve got space in your heart and home, she’s ready to give you all the love she’s been waiting to share. 💖

Sweet Girl Needs a Miracle Home 🌸

This lovely older girl has been quietly surviving in a suburban neighbourhood for the past few years, fed by an elderly couple. Recently, a concerned neighbour reached out — she wasn’t looking well, and they feared she was injured or sick.
We stepped in to help, and thanks to a humane trap and a quick vet visit, we discovered she was suffering from Biliary — a tick-borne illness that can be fatal if untreated.
Thankfully, she’s responding well to treatment and showing improvement every day. 💪🐾
At first, we thought she was feral — she was so frightened and shut down. But once she realized she was safe, her true personality began to shine through. She’s not wild — just a scared little soul who learned to survive on her own. Underneath it all is a sweet, gentle girl who’s finally allowing herself to trust. 💕
Sadly, she can’t return to the place she called home for so long, and right now, she’s stuck in a cage at the vet clinic. While she’s safe, the stress of confinement is wearing on her, and she desperately needs a quiet, loving space to heal and feel safe again.
👉 We’re urgently looking for a foster or forever home for this brave little survivor. She's still under treatment, but doing well — and we’ll support any foster home with vet care and guidance.
Please help us find her the peace and love she’s always deserved. If you can open your heart and home, even temporarily, reach out — you could be the turning point in this beautiful girl’s story.
