Oreo and Milly - These two little girls are enjoying the attention they are getting.

They so long to be adopted into a family that can continue making them feel like the princesses they are.

Strong and healthy, they love to be held and cuddled.

In September 2022 a man arranged for us to foster his cats for a few months, as they needed to move urgently and couldn’t take them with. He was living with his ex-wife and mother-in-law. All were going in different directions (I assumed due to the difficulty of just finding anywhere to live). We were all still reeling from Covid and a lot of people had lost their income, homes, etc. As a rescue organization we were fully aware of the %&$€storm hitting us.
He seemed like a nice guy fallen on bad times. MIL was sobbing and my heart went out to them 💔
None were sterilized and one had tiny babies.
We ALWAYS do what’s best for the cats and so arranged foster homes and sterilizations (thank you to the donations of you our supporters and Animal Anti-Cruelty League for assisting with a very good price 💗)
Needless to say we were ghosted and ended up having to find homes for TEN 😱😭 cats.
Mowgli and Oreo are still with us. They were kept separate for a while and then a few less intimidating cats joined them.
Due to a change in our circumstances they couldn’t remain separated and were slowly introduced into general population. Mowgli has integrated but Oreo is incredibly stressed. It’s not fair to her to have to deal with this every day and she urgently needs to be homed. Both are very gentle and adore attention ❤️

Named after a treat little miss Oreo is as sweet as can be. She is like a little Ninja. Not just the mask she wears but she is always curious about everything going on around her. She loves to purr and bake cookies on you. Feathers are her favourite toys and her gentle nature is what will make her an awesome companion.

UPDATE ON ANGUS

Angus had his Entropion surgery today. He has a cone and isn’t a happy boy. Thank goodness for Gabapentin, it’s probably just the bothersome cone. He should be more comfortable by tomorrow.
Thank you Dr Hilda Meyer from 9th Avenue Veterinary Clinic for the excellent work on his eyelids. The op was a success and he should feel much better once he’s started to heal ❤️

They are scared but at least have eaten a little. Tomorrow they’ll need to be bathed and checked from head to toe. Precious souls 💗

UPDATE: ADOPTED Lady Q in a playful mode - this little one had a really tough start - her eyes were so infected that they were completely crusted over 😭 Her one little eye had signs of a possible ulcer developing and her nose was completely blocked up. Lots of steaming, amazing meds and mashed food (which they normally outgrow at 5 weeks or so) plus patience slowly allowed her to recover. She was scared of human contact because she couldn't see properly 💔😢 Can you imagine how scary it must have been for this little mite. But just look at her now - 1 month later!
