Jolene and David travelled to Pretoria to find a boy that was lost for 2 days. As they arrived in Pretoria at the parents house a call came through that the boy has been found. Sometimes, we show up for duty, just to give hope..... but we always show up. We serve with passion and we go where we are needed.... because in desperate times, all we need is a little hope to hang on to.

Meet David and Jolene. David is a trained Anti-poaching agent. Trained by Protrack, which is a very tough course. Only a small percentage of the recruited candidates completed the course. David is extremely dedicated and passionate about making a positive contribution to animal rescue, anti-poaching, reuniting families, and targeting crime.

David tracked 5 camps on the outside Kruger, staying in the field 20 days at a time, and removed 420 snares from the client's farm on his last assignment.
Jolene our bloodhound tracker dog was brought in due to the demand for properly trained bloodhounds and the epidemic of poaching, crime, lost animals, and even human trafficking. The sense of smell of bloodhounds is on the same level as that of wild wolves.
Tracks can be followed up to 230 km even weeks after tracks were made.
Jolene is being trained to assist with tracking people, lost pets, blood spoor, and identification parades.
Although young, she is very talented and will be trained to be the best.
David and Jolene are going for further training for three months from the end of August 2024. Please support David and Jolene on their journey by sharing this post.

Jolene het weer vandag uitstekende werk gedoen.Daar was op n plot naby Crest ingebreek en oor n heining gespring.Jolene het die reuk 3 keer gevat van die heining tot net agter Crest.Ons het spoor bewyse op die toneel en ook agter Crest.

Graag wil ek vir Hansie en David met sy oulike spoorsnyhond baie dankie sê vir julle flinke hulp. Die manne het binne 10 minute by my gestop nadat ek hulle gekontak het. Hulle het aan my verduidelik dis n jong hond en is nog besig met opleiding so hulle kan my nie waarborg dat die hond suksesfol gaan wees nie, hy leer nog.
Sonder sukkel het die hond die spoor gevat en ons kon die spoor plek plek sien. Die spoor het ons na die perde agter Paws gevat en daar het die spoor verdwyn. Ek wil hulle bedank vir hulle flinke diens. Kom ons ondersteun hulle om die hond ten volle op te lei. Dit kan vir ons as gemeenskap tot grt voordeel lei. kontak gerus vir Hansie by 084 606 1628
