Only about half of the eggs hatched. Not too happy about that but, having a healthy spawn of Dark knights is always a good thing.
These parents are from a line I recently redeveloped. I used a true German Blue ram female from Dortmund in Germany to inject some new genes, and these parents are the 1st Dark knights from that project to now breed.
Of course, all their offspring will be true breeding Dark Knights - just like they are meant to.

Venturing into Plecos of course does not mean I do not keep my old faithful lines of Rams.
Here you can see a very healthy spawn of Electric Blue Rams, as well as a very promising Dark Knight Spawn

During the last few years I have ventured into keeping and breeding some L-cats.
I do not intend on keeping a large number of different species, but rather hope to try and establish large healthy colonies, from various sources of 3 or 4 different species.
Thus far it has been quite succesful, and I now keep and breed Zebra Plecos (L046), Leopard frog Plecos (L134) as well as Wavy Zebra Plecos (L173)
In these videos you can see some offspring from these fish,as well as the main Zebra Pleco setup which now houses approximately 50 x Zebra Plecos, of various sizes and ages.

I have been quite busy at work and so breeding fish has not been at the top of my agenda.
That said - I have my first L134 - Leopard frog fry, and also the first spawn from the L173 Plecos. The L173 male kicked the wrigglers out but I managed to rescue 6 and place them in a floating nursery.
