Guide: How to Use Garlic for Pest Control

1. For Mice:
Method: Place crushed garlic cloves or garlic paste in areas where mice are active.
Effect: The strong scent of garlic repels mice and discourages them from entering your home.

2. For Flies:
Method: Blend garlic with water and strain the mixture. Spray it in areas where flies gather.
Effect: Flies are repelled by the smell of garlic and will avoid the treated areas.

3. For Lice:
Method: Crush garlic into a paste, dilute with water, and apply it to the affected area.
Effect: The garlic suffocates and repels lice, helping to clear them from hair or skin.

4. For Cockroaches:
Method: Crush garlic cloves and place them in corners and areas where cockroaches frequent. Alternatively, mix crushed garlic with water and spray the mixture.
Effect: Cockroaches are deterred by garlic and will avoid treated areas.

5. For Lizards:
Method: Place crushed garlic in windowsills, doorways, and places where lizards are often seen.
Effect: The strong smell of garlic discourages lizards from entering or staying in these areas.

6. For Mosquitoes:
Method: Mix garlic oil with water and spray it around your home, on plants, or in areas where mosquitoes are common.
Effect: The pungent garlic aroma repels mosquitoes, keeping them away from the sprayed area.

Molly is desperately looking for a forever home and has been waiting over a year with absolutely no interest from anyone 😭

Meet Molly, she is a +-4 year old Afrikanis who is desperately looking for a forever home.

She is fully vaccinated, dewormed and sterilized.

She is an active, medium size dog.

Ideally she must be an alone dog or with a well adjusted male.

We are also urgently looking for a good home for this sweet young boy, Oliver.

He was found roaming the streets and no one has claimed him.

If anyone can open their hearts and their home to this very socialized, handsome young man, kindly contact Olivedale Veterinary Clinic. He is around 6 month old and will be neutered and fully vaccinated.

Adoption fee covers sterilisation, micro-chipping, deworming and vaccinations.
