Jolly Pawpaws are situated in Roodepoort on the West Rand of Gauteng and are run by husband and wife, Michelle and Martin, as a place where you can be certain that you will get a purebred Biewer. The love for them originated by a little male Biewer called Hatchiko. Michelle have years of experience with Yorkies and bred with them for quite some time. Tragedy came around and Michelle did not want t

o continue with the Yorkies for personal reasons. She stepped out of the market and later stumbled across the Biewer breed - and so she obtained Hatchiko and completely fell in love with Biewers. Only a couple of months later Martin and Michelle started their relationship and he got introduced to the Biewer breed. It was not long before he also totally fell in love with Biewers. Fast forward a few years later, Jolly Pawpaws originated because they wanted to ensure future Biewer owners get a quality purebred KUSA approved Biewer. They have been through very nasty experiences of breeders claiming purebred pets, however, it was not the case and unfortunately had some pets pass away due to illnesses. This painful experience led to the forming of Jolly Pawpaws - a place where the lineage of their purebred Biewers can be tracked and future Biewer owners can be certain that their Biewer is of high standards and a true Biewer. It is Jolly Pawpaws belief that every Biewer owner should be absolutely certain that their pet is purebred since there are many fraudsters trying to dupe people into purchasing an animal similar to Biewers as an actual Biewer. Not only that, but future Biewer owners can be confident that any Biewer produced by Jolly Pawpaws have been raised in a loving home, away from any concrete breeding blocks or unhealthy environments. Yogi, the local stud for Jolly Pawpaws has a lineage of true desire. On his dad (Xavier) side, grandpa and grandma hailing from Elena Weisse Orchidee in Latvia - one of the top Biewer breeders in the world and one of the purest Biewer bloodlines available. On his mom (Chloe) side, grandpa and grandma, from Germany, with World Cup championship titles (Nationale Championat + Neujahrssieger 2008 + World Cup Winner 2008 + Großer Preis von Deutschland 2008) under their belt - or should we say under their coat? Whether Biewer or not, dogs are a representation of God's undying love for us. Dogs love unconditionally and Biewers surely show that emotion very clearly. What is the difference between Yorkshire and Biewer Terrier?

The most notable difference between the two breeds is in color. While Yorkies are more limited to blues and tans, Biewers have three color coats on them that will sweep around unless trimmed and groomed.

Biewer Terriers are also very lighthearted, with a whimsical personality. They behave like dogs but are hearty and can give you company on even hikes and long walks.

The Yorkshire Terrier, on the other hand, is bolder and is often used as hunters. Biewer also has a softer coat among the two breeds. Both make for friends and ideal household pets.
