✨ Welcome Home, Pandora! ✨

When Pandora’s mom realised her beloved girl hadn’t been home for over 24 hours, panic quickly set in. Pandora is not just a cat — she is family — and the thought of her being out there alone was heartbreaking.

Every search we do is based on the unique situation, and in Pandora’s case, we had to be especially careful. She is a very nervous cat and is afraid of dogs, so bringing K9 Loki along would not have been the right choice. Instead, we focused on a logistics and human search, working gently and strategically to give Pandora the best chance of coming home.

As we moved through the neighbourhood, the dogs at each house came rushing to the gates, barking as we passed. We had just walked beyond the third house on the road when Pandora’s mom phoned us — her voice filled with joy and relief. Pandora had come running through the door!

It all made sense — Pandora had likely been too scared to pass the dogs guarding their back gardens. By drawing their attention and luring them away, we had unknowingly cleared the path for her to slip through and find her way home.

The reunion was everything we hoped for:
🐾 Pandora safe at last.
🐾 A mom overjoyed and tearful.
🐾 Hearts full of gratitude for a happy ending.

🌟 Welcome Home, Lilly! 🌟

In Rustenburg, a beautiful Boerboel named Lilly went missing, leaving her dad heartbroken and desperate to bring her home safely.

Reaching out for help, Lilly’s dad contacted K9 Loki. Although Loki and the team did not go out to track, we stepped in with kindness, creating a poster and giving advice and guidance on how best to find Lilly. Their support brought hope when it was needed most.

Then, while K9 Loki was out on another search, a call came through — Lilly had been spotted! A caring community member had seen her, and without wasting a moment, her dad rushed to the spot.

The moment he arrived, something magical happened. Lilly didn’t hesitate — she ran straight to her dad, her tail wagging and heart full of joy. After days apart, they were finally together again.

To our Incredible community of followers. We have had the most overwhelming outpouring of love and kindness to Archie's family.

I had a chat to Fourways Vet hospital and they have said that Archie is doing so much better. He is sitting up, his wounds are looking so much better. He is trying to stand and wanting more love and cuddles.

Dr Caron Styles is the treating vet and she has asked for us to please change the donations to go directly to Kayla. With the amount of donations coming in it is a big challenge to manage the logistics.

🐾 Help Us Save Archie – A Brave Boy Fighting for His Life 🐾

Archie, a beautiful 7-year-old black Labrador, went missing from his home and endured something no animal ever should.

Just a short distance from where his heartbroken family was desperately searching for him, Archie had fallen head-first into an open sewage drain. The drain was narrow and deep—he was trapped there for six long days, suspended, alone, in the cold and the dark, without food or water.

By the time he was found, Archie was barely clinging to life—hypothermic, severely dehydrated, and near starvation. He is now in critical but stable condition at Fourways Vet Hospital.

Archie has a broken foot, severe bruising, and a dangerous infection. He is receiving the best care possible, and will be seen by a specialist on 8 August 2025—but the road to recovery is going to be long, and the vet costs are overwhelming for his family.

Archie isn’t just a dog. He’s family. He’s loyal, loving, and incredibly brave. And right now, he needs all of us.

We are reaching out to our community to help raise the funds needed to give Archie the fighting chance he deserves. Every donation—no matter how small—brings hope.

UPDATE 8 AUGUST 2025.

*ARCHIE UPDATE*

The surgeons have checked Archie’s leg in which the infection has spread to. They have been treating his leg with a lot of pain medication and medicine. They will be washing it 4 times a day to get it as clean as they can.
He has an abscess in one of his other legs that they are taking care of.

They are focused on controlling his pain mainly and making sure they are controlling his fluids and they are feeding him through a tube.
He is on two different antibiotics to control infection.
He’s on 5mg of Fentanyl for the pain.

There are NO Breaks in his bones, his front legs are strong but he can’t stand on his back legs either from pain or nerve damage.
There is puss coming out of his legs because of the infection.

The news is looking better and thanks to you guys and your prayers and donations have really overwhelmed me and I don’t even know how to thank each and every one of you. From the bottom of my heart, Archie and I say thank you. ❤️

🐾 Diesel’s Homecoming – A Journey of Hope, Love, and Heroes 🐾

After a heart-stopping disappearance, Diesel, a 15-year-old husky with a soul full of stories, is finally home safe—and what a journey it has been!

Diesel isn’t just any dog. He’s the cherished companion of a devoted mom, and the precious, final living link to her late son. When the main gate on their property was broken in a home invasion, Diesel vanished, leaving a hole in his mom’s heart.

Team Loki quickly sprang into action, launching a ground search to bring this beloved old boy home. Despite their efforts, Diesel’s scent trail ran cold not far from the property. It became clear—Diesel had been picked up.

What followed was a whirlwind of phone calls, messages, and community support. Through an incredible day of networking, hearts connected across the city, and then—the call came in.

An amazing woman from Husky Rescue SA in Farmall reached out. Diesel had been dropped off with her early that morning, safe and sound. It turns out he had been found wandering along Rivonia Road by a kind and compassionate couple, true everyday heroes who knew just what to do.

And just like that, a piece of this family’s heart was restored.

To every single person who shared, searched, supported, and stepped up, thank you. From Team Loki to the wonderful humans at Husky Rescue, and the couple who didn’t just pass him by—you are all heroes.

🐾 Winter’s Joyous Journey Home 🐾

After ten long and nerve-wracking days, the story we’ve all been hoping for had the happiest of endings—Winter is home!

This adventurous feline managed to break through the cat-proofing on the windows of his home, vanishing into the unknown and leaving his family heartbroken and desperate for answers.

With hope still in their hearts, Winter’s family reached out to K9 Loki, the incredible Pet-tracking team known for reuniting lost pets with their humans. With experience and care, K9 Loki guided Winter’s mom through the emotional rollercoaster of the search, giving expert advice on what steps to take and—most importantly—where to look.

As days stretched into nights and the search continued, it was K9 Loki’s suggestion to focus efforts around the greenbelt near their home that kept the family going. And sure enough, on day ten, their persistence paid off.

There, on the other side of the wall of his very own home, sat Winter—waiting. Whether it was the familiar scent of home or the sound of his family calling, Winter had made his way back to the one place he knew he was loved.

Hearts were pounding (and whiskers twitching!) as Winter was scooped up and welcomed back with open arms. His journey reminds us that even the smallest clues can lead to the biggest reunions—and that the bond between pets and their people is never broken.

Welcome home, beautiful boy. The house is whole again with you in it. 🌿💙🐱
