WE ARE URGENTLY IN NEED OF CAT FOOD

Please help us feed the 20 extra cats and kittens we rescued a week ago in Kriel. This is a tall order and us not having a Proper shelter makes things a little difficult. But we never give up !

Montego Pet Nutrition charity drive for welfare organisations also makes donating easy and food os delivered on our doorstep. We are blessed to be on thier list as only a few animal organisations were chosen during Covid time.

Totally lost amd wandering the streets.
Definitely malnourished and thin but has so much love to give.

She is in our care and will go for a checkup today.

A CRY FOR HELP!

NOT ALL DAYS ARE HAPPY DAYS

We recently found this little guy, just a few weeks old, sitting helplessly in a pothole in the middle of a busy road! Cars were driving over the pothole, and on either side of the pothole! His death was a certainty!

Fortunately, we came across the pitiful sight just in time, stopped and plucked the little one into the safety of our car. The look in his eyes said it all - he was lost and hopeless. We sobbed in the car as we tried to comprehend how such a little puppy ended up in a pothole in the middle of a busy road? Such a cruel fate for an innocent life!

He is now safely in our care, but he has a severe skin condition (Mange) caused by mites, probably as a result of living in unsanitary conditions at the start of his young life. The condition is extremely painful and uncomfortable for him, and he scratches continuously, sometimes crying out. He is losing his hair constantly, and is covered in sores. 😥

We are committed to his long term care, which requires specific treatments to cure the condition and bring him much-needed relief. It could take a few months to see significant improvement.

So this is an appeal to all our supporters and fellow animal lovers to please consider donating towards his medical care, as well as the care of other rescued animals whose medical needs we are overseeing.

You can donate either directly to our vet account held at Evander Dierekliniek or into our LPBH Secunda account. All proceeds generated from this appeal will go towards medical bills for our precious rescue animals.

IF THE PAWS FIT, GET A JACKET

Not all dogs have the privileged of a warm blanket, a fire place and enough food. Winter month's are harsh where we work .

Saturdays outreach was windy and very cold for us, not to mention for the cats and dogs.

And what a great support system we have.
Thank you to our Townies, friends and supporters for donating "jassies" for the dogs.
