WHEN YOUR ARE LUCKY

Our township dog has stolen many hearts over the years and most definitely has mine (and the whole team) 😃

We have known him since our very first outreach
2 November 2013 and met him in the first township we started working (the old Holfontein) camp.) He was a small tiny little pup then

He has been through many difficult times and life has not always been easy for him. The normal lifespan shows that without help and support like ours these dogs live between 1 and 3 years. If they are lucky.

This boy for some or other reason is always in a fight.
He had parvo, tick fever but the scariest was when he was diagnosed with TVT.

WHAT IS TVT
Canine transmissble venerial tumor Form of cancer transferable amongst Canines throug mating
Prevention early sterilisation

True to what our organization stands for, we started the fight with him and he received weekly chemotherapy sessions for many weeks.

He lost a lot of weight and hair and somedays he just did not stand up. But OUR DANGER is a survivor. He is the first dog we treated and 11 years later he is still running around.

SAY NO AND DONT SUPPORT THIS CRUELTY
The people supporting does not give one Rand or Doller to help the animals with food or Veterinary care.
This is not fun SAY NO

How could this ever be managed in a humane way? Freezing winds or temperatures over 45 degrees it makes no difference. These poor horses will still be out there despite any good intentions by new management. This is no place for any horse. Please just say no to using animals in your holiday plans. Your five minutes of fun is their lifetime of torture😞

A LIFE WITHOUT A DOG IS POSSIBLE, BUT POINTLESS 🐕

Only one survived. The mother was poisoned and the other 5 puppies died soon after the mother.

She is the only one left.
We almost lost the puppy as she was very weak and infested with worms (literally coming out of the mouth) when we found her and we had little hope.

But our little hope was rewarded. Our Puppy is picking up weight and looking much better !

As we say our work is never done, we do not have sufficient funds but our hearts and houses (does not have a shelter) are full.
