We can formulate a recipe for you and recommend supplements if needed. And then you cook it in the comfort of your own home.
We take into consideration:

We had fantastic feedback on our hypoallergenic treats (see the post about Stoffel for an example). The only complaint was that your four footed friends want more per bag! Well, their wish is our command! From now on the treats will be sold in bags of 150g each!

We are excited to introduce another product to our Nibbles line: Gourmet Crumbles for Rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils!
Rodent (esp rat and mice) owners can be divided into two groups:
Group one believes in a muesli diet, because it provides variety/enrichment and allows the pet to forage.
Group two believes in a pelleted diet, because it prevents selective feeding and therefore possible malnutrition.
We first developed our Gourmet Muesli for Group one. Now we have a Gourmet crumble for Group two - it prevents selective feeding, but it is not as boring as a pelleted diet, because the crumbles are all different shapes/sizes.
It is available to the public from vets, vets shops, good pet shops and online through Petheaven.
Our vets and pet shop owners can order from Lakato and VetServ. Samples of the crumbles (or any of our other products) are also available - just ask VetServ or Lakato or DM us.

Feeding your cat master:

We recommend purchasing a high-quality cat or kitten food. Factors like age, activity level and health make a difference in what and how much a cat should eat. Cats are not small dogs that climb trees! They are obligate carnivores so they need a source of animal tissue to provide essential nutrients like taurine, niacin, Vit A and arachidonic acid.

You will need to provide fresh, clean water at all times, and wash and refill your cat’s water bowls daily.

Treats should be no more than 5-10% of the diet.

We stock all the top brands of wet, dry and raw cat food as well as nutritional treats and snacks. Speak to our knowledgeable team in store about your cats' needs.

Hooked has a marine and a fresh water line for cats and dogs:
• The marine line is wild caught tuna – the Longfin is caught by pole and the Yellowfin by handline.
• The fresh water range is cold smoked Rainbow trout - sustainably produced and farmed in Baardskeerdersbos.
Other than the sugar used in the cold smoked process of the trout, no added colourants, flavourants, sugar or ethoxyquin are added to our products.
