Max and his brother Milo were not wanted by their owner and were very neglected and were eventually surrendered to us some time ago, Milo was lucky as he was adopted by a wonderful family and is enjoying a fantastic life, we had hoped that Milo’s owners might adopt Max too so we didnt look for a home for him hoping that the two brothers, who adore each other, could be together once again but sadly this did not happen and now Max is looking for a home to call his own he has been waiting at our shelter in the township for a long time hoping that he could be reunited with his brother once again but since this is not going to happen he desperately needs to get on with his life alone

Max is a 2-3 year old boy, he has been sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped and is a totally stunning dog, he gets on well with other canine friends and enjoys their company, he loves humans of all ages, learns quickly and lives to “please” he just wants to give love and be loved and lives each day to the “full” smiling all the time, Max is full of joy and happiness having forgiven and forgotten his bad start in life and the neglect he was forced to suffer in the past, if you can help Max to get out of our shelter and give him a home of his own please contact me I promise you that you won’t be sorry as he will brighten your life from his first “hello” in the morning till his last kiss at night.

Jess lost her soulmate and love of her life, 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐨, this afternoon and is absolutely heartbroken, crying non-stop in the kennels.
It goes without saying that she needs to find a home of her own as soon as possible.

Jess was very bonded to Sasko and isn't a fan of other dogs, or of cats and as such needs to be an only dog.
She would be the ideal companion for an older person who is home all day, and needs some company, so we have made her an honourary member of our 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞.

Please help us help this poor girl find her forever home.

CHICO

Male | 3 Years | Medium

We really wish that Chico's story was different, as no dog should have to endure what he did. Unfortunately Chico was found hanging by a piece of rope from a staircase in a neighboring area. His lucky stars were definitely watching over him as he then ended up in our care being completely spoilt and adorned with love. Although humans have disappointed him terribly, his forgiving nature is still so prominent. He has such a beautiful personality and he still has so much love to give!

Woodrock Animal Rescue Doggie Wash Day - 21 March

Join us as we celebrate Estelle's birthday this year and what else would be better than a doggie wash day?
Some of the dogs and puppies are in desperate need of a good rinse so, if you feel like doing a good deed for the day then join us in what promises to be a squeaky clean fun for the whole family! Pop into Woodrock Animal Rescue on the 21st March 2022 from 10am.
The last wash day, we were able to clean 100 dogs in just over 3 hours which is beyond amazing! The goal is the same but anything over will just be incredible!
Your help in getting the pooches from scruffy to lovely, might be the difference in a chance to be rehomed.
But waaaait - There's more! We have donkey's! We have pigs! We have geese! We have bunnies! We have cats - and they all love attention and treats!
