We would like to take a moment to wish the absolute happiest of birthdays to Jordyn Wolffe!

Jordyn is one of the founding members of our free flight community here in Cape Town and this entire movement in SA has her to credit for its growth and continued success. She's only a teenager, but already managed to make such a positive impact on the world around her - and all her animals who are so fortunate to share her life journey with her. She is an inspiration to so many people and we know no goal is out of reach for this phenomenal young lady!

We hope the year ahead brings many new adventures and pleasant surprises.

Finally almost had the whole gang together again for some flights in Durbanville this morning 💪

We had the privilege of witnessing another, albeit accidental, first free flight this weekend! Ace's bonded mate, Axl, the Severe Macaw, could absolutely not contain her excitement at seeing Ace do his first loops, so she took it upon herself to open her travel crate's door and take to the skies herself. She ended up circling much higher than she was comfortable with, which resulted in some excited back and forth calling, but she never let Ace (who was on the ground with his trainers) out of her sight until she could eventually manage to descend enough to land safely on the ground. After about 5 minutes of sheer flight time and LOTS of panic honks, she was safely back with Ace and her people.
