Jiffy desperately needs help 🙏🏻
Jiffy arrived at our kennels yesterday morning and is in desperate need of help please 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Jiffy's owner died last week and while family were packing up the home, a gate was left open. He slipped out and not only got attacked by another dog in the street, but a man started hitting him with a spade. He is badly injured and has a broken leg. We have found a loving new home for Jiffy with a wonderful daddy where he can start a new life, but his new dad cannot take on all these unexpected medical expenses and has reached out to us for help. Cape Town - stars in those big gorgeous eyes of hers, galaxies of love to give in her heart and a universe of friendship she'd like to share with YOU!

Rain was shy and reserved at first but being in foster care has been so amazing for her and has really come out of her shell, dropping those walls she'd built around her heart and let us in to see how stunninly sweet she is. She has a calm temperament, not hyper at all although does enjoy a good play session with her foster fur brother.

And is extremely bright, clever cookie this one already knows her sit, down and wait. Walks beautifully on lead too. RAIN is an alert little girl (of about 6 months now) and barks if anyone she doesn't know comes to visit her foster family. But they soon become friends and before long is cuddling everyone! She is in a word an all round sweetheart.

She's a petite little girl who will probably be medium size when fully grown with that awesome Pit bull athletic build 😊 and would love a family with a couple of kids to play with and a friendly male her size or bigger to hang out with during the day. No cats please.

GUY FAWKES RESULTS IN 48% INCREASE IN REGULAR AFTERHOURS ADMISSIONS
Our Inspectors had a busy night taking approximately 50 calls after dark relating to firework activity and distressed animals. 10 animals were rescued and given refuge, and 2 dogs who were victims of motor vehicle accidents are being treated in our hospital.

Guy Fawkes may be over but we know the worst is yet to come. Many animals, some injured, will be lost, unable to find their way home and wildlife will have been displaced. Please call us on 0217004158/9 or on 0833261604 if you come across any animals in need of assistance.

Up until now we have been asking you are awesome supporters for R750 a month sponsorships to help with things like kennel fees (because we rent) food, medical needs such as vaccinations and then there's deworming, tick and flea control. Sterilization. But sadly and of course inevitably we all know things go up, prices increase and so on....

So we going to need to start asking for R1000 sponsorship per pooch, this can be split -
2 people each paying R500 or
4 people each paying R250 till adopted.
Each 'owning' a piece of one of our stunning rescues, like beautiful ROSE 🌹 over here who is so hoping for 2, 3 or 4 sponsor angels who will show her some love by helping towards her care.
