Found these 24k shrimp of various sizes, some about 2 days old, while removing eggs from the tank to move over into the fry and hatching tank.

Micro worms are a brilliant way to feed your fish, both adults and fry and guess what, they are an endless renewable resource once you have the culture and initial mix. These culture can cost up to R150 at stores and online, we sell a starter kit for a mere R70!
Micro worms are very useful for breeders :
Firstly they are extremely easy to culture and the cultures last a relatively long time.
The micro worms themselves are one of the very few live foods which are actually smaller than brine shrimps.
Finally they are widely accepted as a fry food.
As they are LIVE worms they don't add waste to your tank as leftover foods often can. Cleaner tank happier fish!

FACTS ABOUT MICRO WORMS:
Microworms are a live fish food that many aquarists use to feed their fish. They are especially good for fry (fish babies) as they help to fatten them up, they are also great for small adult fish.
Feeding fry live food instead of powdered flake food or similar increases the survival rate for most species and will also aid rapid growth and development. Live food is less likely to foul the water, since live creatures will stay alive until consumed instead of starting to decompose.
