We want to thank you for your continued trust in Simsational Pet Sitting to care for your pets. As of 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, our prices will be increasing for the first time since August 2022. This adjustment is due to the rising cost of living and operating expenses, ensuring we continue to provide the quality care your pets deserve.

The updated prices will be communicated to clients in the new year, and all bookings for 2025 onward will be charged at the new rates. We will also be updating our price list and FAQs document, which will be shared with clients early in the year.

Recently, we’ve experienced several cancellations for dates we held in December, often for months in advance. While we understand that plans can change, these last-minute cancellations can be frustrating and have a real impact, especially as we frequently decline other bookings to honor these commitments. Our sitters rely on this income, and we aim to support them by managing schedules fairly for all.

𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
To better accommodate all clients and ensure fairness, we will be implementing a non-refundable holding deposit for peak-time bookings starting in 2025. This deposit will be applied to the balance due if the booking goes ahead but will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation. We’ll share further details about this policy in the new year.

Please note that we will be on vacation from 7 to 15 October 2024 and will be unavailable for calls, messages, or inquiries during this time. If you have any outstanding documents or questions regarding current or upcoming bookings, kindly let us know as soon as possible.

Hi there!

We're sorry for the disappearing act - While we have been reachable via Whatsapp and email, we understand that some may have been a little concerned about not seeing us post to social media.

December was an exceptionally busy month for us at SPS, marking a milestone with our first-ever waiting list. This achievement has, in part, encouraged us to make some changes to our pet sitting team in the hopes that we can offer you more availability, more flexibility and more fun.

However, we've faced a personal challenge recently: our beloved dachshund, Diego, has been diagnosed with severe elbow dysplasia and much of February has been centred on getting medical concerns addressed, appointments made, and recovery plans created and adapted.

At the moment, we're trying to raise funds to cover the cost of his surgeries (but you can follow his recovery journey on on IG). We also remain committed to delivering the unparalleled love, care, and attention our clients expect from us, as we continue to grow our team and manage daily operations.

To prioritize our own family and pets, especially given Diego's condition, Jaun and I have decided to limit our direct involvement in pet sitting. Considering Diego's diagnosis and upcoming recovery needs, we felt this was the best decision for our little family.

We will still assist with check-ins, but stay overs and full day stays will be re-assigned to the pet sitting team. We will still oversee, schedule and manage these bookings, but these services have been, and will bem transferred to our capable team members. Affected clients have been notified of this change.

Looking ahead to 2024, here's what you can anticipate from SPS:
🐾 Welcoming new team members to enrich our services.
🐾 A slight price adjustment planned for mid-year.
🐾 Regular engagements and updates on social media.
🐾 Our unwavering commitment to providing top-notch care and affection.
