Through the Pupcakes for Hope initiative, we will have pupcakes for sale on the day, as well as various activities, demonstrations, and giveaways to take part in.
There will also be vendors selling an assortment of pet-related goodies and food & refreshments on the day.
Proceeds from the day will be donated to The South African Guide Dogs Association.

Hi DMs I'm very excited to announce that my work will, once again, be exhibited at FotoZA Gallery in April next year.
Inspired by my now very elderly muse, Jane, I've decided to shoot a new body of work featuring senior dogs. Jane turned 13 in September which is pretty impressive for a big dog, so of course I've kicked the project off with portraits of her.
I'm in need of more models.

DOG OWNERS BEWARE ! Today we had to put our beautiful chocolate Labrador, Chad, to sleep, after he ate something toxic on the beach the day before the 2nd flood. He has been fighting for his life but lost the fight today. π The vet confirmed there have been other cases of dogs dying of liver toxicity since the floods. The waste on our beaches is toxic! We donβt want any other family to go through this heartbreak. ππ

A separate note from the post above Ethekwini beaches have been and remain closed for swimming and fishing due to high ecoli levels since the last floods in April. People should avoid the shoreline as well and really watch that their pets do not eat anything on the beach while out on walks. This particular tragic incident occurred in Umdloti but there has been toxic waste streaming into the ocean all along the coastline.. If you have had no problems good on you but this is for anyone else who may not be so lucky.
Our thoughts are with Angela and her family during this very sad time and we thank her for wanting to help other families avoid having to go through the same tragic situation.
