To all our hero's: 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗥'𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬!
Do you know the story of St Eloy? It is quite remarkable and a great fortune that he did not train farriers 😅. But it is nevertheless an entertaining story...
So, St Eloy became the patron saint of farriers and blacksmiths, owing to a fascinating legend surrounding his extraordinary skill in shoeing horses. According to the tale, one fateful day, St. Eloy encountered a horse so unruly that it seemed possessed by the devil himself. Determined to ease the task of shoeing the rebellious steed, St. Eloy resorted to an audacious solution. He fearlessly severed one of the horse's legs and proceeded to meticulously shoe the detached limb. Remarkably, once the task was completed, the saint effortlessly reattached the leg to the horse by simply invoking the sacred sign of the cross.
