IT’S NOT A COMPETITION

People often ask those of us who advocate for animal rights: “But what about human suffering - farm murders and hungry children? Why are you wasting your time on animals when so many humans are suffering?”

IT’S NOT A COMPETITION.

Ending the suffering of all sentient beings will and can make the world a better place for animals and humans.

Banning factory farming (which includes greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, water pollution and biodiversity loss) will and can make the world a better place. Farming lives is morally abhorrent.

Ending the trade in sentient beings (to zoos, laboratories, in pet shops and for entertainment) will help stop the transfer of zoonotic diseases.

The list is endless.

IT’S NOT A COMPETITION

Expanding our circle of moral consideration to include the most vulnerable in society - the animals - can and will create greater empathy, compassion and ethical awareness in the world.

AND THAT’S A KIND WORLD. AND A BETTER WORLD.

Caillin Whitehead " Hi everyone. On Saturday 04/01 my precious 11 month old boy Apollo was severely beaten on the head with a pipe by my landlords son (Stefano Ruffini from Wooden Bear Creations ) . He is in agonizing pain and his eyes aren't responding to light, he has swelling on his brain and could possibly lose his one eye. I have taken him to the vet twice on 04/01 and he requires further check ups. I am looking to raise funds towards his vet bills and all other expenses relating to this incident such as accommodating our move as we cannot stay on the property with an animal abuser. Apollo is a treasure to my family, my children love him so much and he is my baby. Please help me to help him.
