I will have about 40 fertilised Potck Koekoek eggs available by the end of the week.
My Potch Koekoeks are free ranging - so I cannot split the normal and lavender eggs
The chicks will be mix of normal and lavender, but all chicks will carry the lavender gene

I can PUDO eggs.

Lavender Potch Koekoeks.
Yes I bred them from 2 normal Potch Koekoeks that I bought as day old chicks. I had no idea that this color even existed in the Potch Koekoeks.
So I am now trying to breed a healthy unrelated flock of these beauties!!!

I bred my 3 first Lavender Potch Koekoeks from 2 Normal Potch Koekoeks that I bought as day old chicks.
I have searched to try and get more information on this color and cannot get anything.
So I am in process to try and see if the lavender gene in the Potch Koekoek is the same as the Lavender gene in other breeds.
So these chicks will then be splits and I cannot wait for them to start laying that I can see what I get from them!!!
