Meet Angel and Tye from Ballito. These two were the sweetest, most well-behaved cutie-pies. Pat, our sitter had a lovely weekend with them with all the cuddles, kisses, and love from both furbabies 💙🐾🐾

This gorgeous kittie Tumbles had a soothing transition into her new home with Jackie's Pet Sitting with lots of cuddles and scratches whenever possible...Tumbles had just moved into a new home before her mom had to go on holiday, so she was very timid at first because of her new environment (spot the blankies suckles ☺️🐾). But she soon became comfortable in her new surroundings with help from her sitter. She's so cute and such a chatterbox 💜 thank you for your support, Prema. We just love your baby 🐾🐾💜

As we wrap up the holiday season, we at Jackie's Pet Sitting want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our amazing clients (and their adorable fur babies!) for trusting us with their care. Your support means the world to us, and we’ve loved every moment of making tails wag and whiskers purr!

We are experiencing some high temperatures in KZN at the moment...please keep our furbabies safe! 🐾🐾

During this time it is crucial to take necessary precautions to ensure the well-being of your pets. Here are some tips to help you take care of your pets during this challenging period:

1. Provide ample shade: Ensure that your pets have access to a shaded area throughout the day.

2. Keep them hydrated: Always provide fresh and cool water for your pets to drink. Consider adding ice cubes to their water bowls to help keep it cooler for longer periods.

3. Avoid hot surfaces: The ground can become scorching during heat waves, which can burn your pet's paws. Walk them during cooler hours or on grassy areas to minimize the risk of burns.

4. Never leave them in a parked vehicle: Even with windows cracked open, temperatures inside a vehicle can escalate rapidly, posing a severe threat to your pets.

5. Limit physical activity: Reduce the intensity and length of your pet's exercise during the hottest parts of the day. Keep play sessions shorter and opt for cooler times, such as early mornings or evenings.
