Yellow Beetle House offer house and pet sitting services in the Western Cape at reasonable prices. We are a dependable, reliable and honest pet-loving group that would be glad to look after your home and pets while you're away on business, holiday etc.

Rates R195 per night (sleep in) Or R75 per house visit (Check up on house and pets) Please note that pricing may vary according to how far we need to travel daily and on your time of arrival on the last day and meetings/fetching/dropping off of keys etc. Number of pets will be taken into account.

Additionally, many kennels and boarding houses potentially expose your pet to other health risks, especially over peak periods. Please book early to avoid disappointment as long weekends and holidays fill up fast.

Pet Feeding and Visits
Rates: Mon-Fri - R90/visit --- Weekend R110/visit --- Times: Mornings 7am – 9am - Evenings 5pm – 7pm

Dog Walking
Taking your dog for a walk is essential to the K9's mental and physical well-being. We will take your dog for walks so that it may get out the house and have fun.
Walks are 40-50 minutes depending on the area and weather.

House-Pet Sitter
R300 p/n Northern Suburbs | R350 other areas (Cape Town surrounds) More then 5 days it will be R275 p/n in all areas

Our Story

The idea of offering a House & Pet-sitting service came to life all thanks to a little boy who couldn’t have his own pets to love and care for. That would be my son, Migael. As a mother, I knew that it was a very basic need that needed to be fulfilled and thought of ways to do it. The idea of doing pet-sitting came to mind and after a little research I realised that there was a definite need for it in the Western Cape. And so this service came to life in January 2017.

We’ve been doing this for almost two years now and it has been tremendously rewarding to see first hand what a positive impact it has had on my son, to be able to interact with various animals in various surroundings, but also how we have been able to make a difference in other’s lives.

I believe in doing unto others as I would want them to do unto me. This has been our motto since the start and enables us to look at other people’s homes and pets with the right mindset. I always ask myself: If it were my house or my pets that were being looked after, how would I want them to be treated? What would I be looking for in a Sitter?

The answer is simple. I would want, no, need, someone that I can trust implicitly to look after and care for my things the way that I would. Someone that would care for and respect my things the way I do, and more so, someone that would respect me, my family and my privacy. Someone trustworthy, reliable and responsible.
