I’m Tana Hitchcock, and this is the heart behind Pawsitters 🐾
Pawsitters began with a simple question: why should pets have to leave the place they feel safest? Their home. Their routine. Their comfort. That belief is what shaped everything we do.
I’m completely hands-on and personally involved in every booking. I believe real pet care is in the detailsknowing who waits by the gate, who sleeps on the couch, who needs extra reassurance, and who pretends not to care but secretly does. Every pet is different, and they deserve to be treated that way.
Pawsitters isn’t a kennel or a boarding facility. We care for your pets in their own home, where they’re calm, happy, and stress-free. Over time, Pawsitters has grown through trust, consistency, and word of mouth. Clients don’t just leave their pets with us they leave their peace of mind.

A very big hello to the gorgeous trio Midnight and Whiskers, our two charming feline friends, and Tux, the very handsome pup 🐾🐶🐱🐱
These are some familiar faces you’ve seen before, and we’re so happy to be staying with them in their own home in Sunninghill, keeping their routines just the way they like it until 10 January 2026.
Plenty of cuddles for the cats, tail wags for Tux, and lots of love all around home is always best when it’s filled with familiar paws and happy hearts 💛

What a beautiful stay it’s been with this special crew. Titch, Rosie, Ziggy, Izzy, Santi and Robinson filled our days with wagging tails, soft noses, gentle horse hugs, and so much love.
Mom is back tomorrow, and while we know the excitement is REAL, saying goodbye is always a little bittersweet for us. Thank you for trusting Pawsitters with your precious horses and dogs and for welcoming us into your home and hearts.

Wrapped up like the tiny queen she is, Snowy is the definition of small but mighty cute. With her button nose, curious little eyes, and those perfectly spiky quills, she’s already stolen hearts without even trying.

When bath time becomes a team-building exercise 🫧😂
Titch decided Ziggy was looking a little… underwashed and took matters into their own paws. No water, no soap just a very enthusiastic Italian Greyhound “lick & polish” service.
Ziggy’s face says “I didn’t book this spa treatment”
Titch’s face says “You’re welcome.”
Five-star service, slightly questionable technique, zero refunds 😌🐾

Some familiar faces popping up on our feed 🐾
Max and Bailey are back at it in Cedar Lakes, living their best lives while we handle the important stuff. We’ll be feeding these two champs 2x a day from the 20th to the 27th of December, making sure bowls are full, tails are wagging, and everything runs right on schedule.
Repeat clients like Max and Bailey are our favourite kind of compliment clearly they know a good thing when they sniff it 😉
Holiday plans sorted, pets happy, humans relaxed… that’s how we do December at Pawsitters.
