KPH is a pro-life organisation – We will not euthanase any animals if they can be healed and have a healthy, pain free, happy life. As most animals come from disadvantaged backgrounds, many require extensive veterinary care. Every animal also receives standard health care – vaccinations, de-worming, flea control and sterilisation. Our monthly veterinary bills average R40,000 - R50,000 per month. S

ince 2007 until June 2010, we have homed and sterilised a total of 2646 animals and have independently sterilised 641 animals from underprivileged areas.

Meet Fauna! 🤎😍 This chonky girlie is a 10 week old female Small Medium Mix (her mommy is Foxie who is Small Medium and her daddy is Flubber who is a Dachshund X) and is available for adoption at Kitty and Puppy Haven FROM FRIDAY MORNING!

Fauna is a sweet but feisty and busy but cuddly darling which makes her the perfect puparoo 😉😂 She is super eager to run circles around you, have you wrapped around her paw and completely ignore you when she knows she’s doing something “naughty” (actually there’s no such thing as a naughty pup 👀) 🫶🏼

‼️‼️ We need your help homing some really stunning, really friendly and really playful (we do also have laid back kittens for those looking for calmer 😼) kittens. Kitten season came by really quickly and so these kitties are slowly but surely, missing their chance, being overlooked and therefor growing up in the shelter 😿💔

And while we are full with kittens waiting to be homed, we sadly cannot take in anymore rescues needing our help 😔

With Kitty and Puppy Haven being a Non Profit Company and a Public Beneficiary Organization we rely heavily on support from yourselves, being the public, and businesses in the position to make donations 🐶🐱

And so being registered as a Public Beneficiary Organization we can issue Section 18A Certificates for all Monetary donations made towards our sanctuary! 🐱 Happily Homed! 🐶

Another week of the sweetest adoptions - we are always over the moon when a precious rescue is given a chance at knowing a true forever home! ♥️

• Daddy Doggo Flubber hit the jackpot being adopted by the Tselentis family. He joins KPH doggo Wuzzy (now named Hermis) who is super duper excited to have a furry friend 🩵

• Sweet boy Pluto found himself the very best home and joins the Carstens family. We cannot wait to see how well he blossoms and all the fun adventures he’s going to go on with his new hooman 🫶🏼

• The last lil Reindeer, Dancer, had his day and went home with the Sandham family. We’ve been told he’s quite the smarty pants and have fully made himself riiiiight at home, soaking up all the cuddles 🥰

• Cutie Tato joins the Scheepers family. He joins doggo Tinkie who is oozing with excitement for all the fun and games to begin 🥳

• Lovely boy Spud stole the hearts of the Maree family. He has 2 very excited lil humans who are filled to the brim with joy at having a doggo in the home - it was so sweet seeing how exited they were 🥹

• The Van Der Westhuizen family fell instantly in love with handsome Louie. His joining the family has brought the biggest smiles and endless days of joy in to their lives, we are so happy for all of them 💛

• Darling Lilly went home with the very excited Davidson family. She had no problem making herself at home right away - she’s going to be absolutely adored and spoilt just as she deserves 💕

• Kitty Ember put on her puuurry puursonailty and landed herself a spot in the Erasmus family. Her new kitty friend can’t wait to officially meet her so they can be the 2 best friends that anyone could have 😻

• Mommy cat Penny and adorable kitten Timothy made it very clear to the Van der Merwe family that they just could not leave without them. We hope both the kitties supply you with a lifetime of smiles, laughter, love and allllll the kitty kisses! 😽

• Kitties Glinda & Tux joined the very excited Van Niekerk family. These 2 kitties are going to be treated like the prince and princess they are and be spoilt beyond belief - we love that for them 💜

Pluto is honestly the most devine and delightful darling boy who has the cutest lil personality and the most precious zoomies 🥰 He is looking for a calm and patient home who is going to enjoy watching him blossom into the goodest, bestest boy possible 🫶🏼 He loves being around his favorite person and getting the tightest squeezes, and in return he will give you the greatest snuggles- you know those kind of snuggles where your heart just wants to burst ?!… Well you can take our word for it

We do not know the life Ladie has had to endure for the first couple years of her life but one thing we do know for sure, is she wasn’t treated very well at all 💔 This most precious girl has shown us just how forgiving doggies can be regardless of the hardships they have been through with their previous humans…
