Funny moment!

Senior Inspector Diale was having a one on one conversation with Mr Horse to show him his checklist and explaining why he was there.. The Horse was happy with the information provided and allowed Inspector Diale do carry on with his duties.

Senior Inspector Israel and Inspector Zac had a very busy morning trying to rescue a dog, that somehow managed to get himself stuck between a wall.

After the owner contacted us asking for help our guys jumped into action, took the wall down and managed to get the dog out. The owner and dog were extremely happy to be reunited! Luckly the dog had no injuries. The owner will be closing up the gap to ensure his pet does not get stuck again.

Our volunteer lady in our Bookshop has just been robbed. A man pretending he wanted to buy books just grabbed her bag and ran out the property.

Sadly now she has lost a cellphone, all her cards and ID and will now be unable to draw her SASSA money!!! We are extremely grateful she is unharmed but the inconvenience of having everything stolen just makes you so angry.

She comes in everyday to run our Bookshop and for some idiot to take a chance and rob her - we hope karma gets you!!

Our Hospital washing machine has packed up - cost to repair is more than the value of the machine.

This machine runs every day to ensure our animals have clean bedding in the hospital. We are asking for support in purchasing a new machine and came across this special now on at GAME.

EXTREME GRAPHIC PICTURES!!

People often ask why we post certain images. What is the purpose of posting these graphic images? We always say this page people either like and support - or skip and scroll on.

We post them to show public that unfortunately it is not all flowers and rainbows for animals. If it was - there would be no need for an SPCA. Not all animals are loved and looked after. We post them to show people - what WE have to clean up after humans got hold of animals. What OUR STAFF have to go through because of humans.

NO HUMAN should have to go through what our Inspectors went through yesterday. Imagine opening a door and walking in on a scene that will haunt you forever. Imagine walking in on a scene - where there is dead silence, not even any insect activity - as the 2-corpse lying there are so badly decomposed - they don't have a smell, the bodies that looked burned, are in fact not burned - it is the severe case of decomposing.

The final resting place of these 2 dogs, who were cruelly locked up and forgotten about. How long they were locked up before they died - we don't know. Did they bark and "scream" for help - we can be sure they did.

Did anyone come to their rescue - NO!!!

This scene unfolded in Lehae yesterday afternoon. And was only discovered as someone wanted to use the building.

Where is the owner we will be asked - WE DONT KNOW.

Will we be prosecuting anyone we will be asked - if you can help us find this "person" by all means we will prosecute 100%

Is there an owner - in a case like this - THERE NEVER IS!!

Our team had to clean up this scene yesterday - and today they are all at work. How they do it - we don't know, but we truly have a remarkable team of people who will always be there to clean up after monsters are done, as this is always done where amazingly NO ONE ever sees or hears anything.

Makes us wonder at times!

Please donate uncooked chicken and rice towards our animal's yummy lunch. Tuna or plain pilchards for the kitties / or carrots and apples for the farm animals.

Please note: The food will be served cooked to the animals.

Christmas lunch will be fed on the 24th of December - if you want to pop through and help with the feeding and spend some time walking the animals or playing with them, pop in between 9 - 12.

Its sems this really is the silly season, and everyone is preparing for holidays

Given this, we will be postponing the pub quiz to early next year.

Life is not fair.

You start off as a happy puppy, ready to play and explore.

The next thing you know, you are lying abandoned in an open piece of ground, extremely ill and clinging to life. By the time we got to you, it was to late. Parvo virus has riddled your little body and litteraly sucked the life out of you.

Did you have an owner? If so where are they, why did they not look after you and ask for help. By simply leaving you with a bowl of bones, and walking away, they are worse than the virus.

Please vaccinate your animals. Parvo can be prevented. Speak to your local Vet or SPCA. All dogs and cats need their yearly vaccinations to help keep them covered and protected.

Prevention is better than cure, as in some cases, there is no cure.

For Christmas this year we want to get all our Kennel animals sponsored for Christmas. We have a 140 Kennels in our Kennel Department with animals up for adoption.
