Being born in cage, never receiving any love and being used as a breeding machine for life is one of the worst fates imaginable. Pedigrees are the most abused animals in South Africa and unfortunately, animals have no rights here. What we must realise is that firstly we are dealing with very intense people. Most experts believe psychopaths and sociopaths have very little inner sense of what is rig
ht or wrong. Also most of the breeders have another common trait – GREED! Once we realise we have to overcome these hurdles when dealing with the breeders, dealing with them is easier... (sometimes, though, the relationship sours when they find out I am affiliated with other rescue organisations - I raised R27,000 for Transkei Welfare Society and over R50,000 for Persian Cat Rescue in Johannesburg). I am currently working with English Bulldog Angels, as I rescued two English Bulldogs from a well-known English Bulldog breeder in Johannesburg. This particular breeder has 100 dogs in cages. I have set up this page (and soon to be NPO) to raise awareness and funding to help bring freedom, love and a life worth living to some of our country's most disgracefully abused animals. Please Help me set them free!

Anyone in EL want to give an Amstaff a retirement home? These beauties have been in the breeding industry their entire lives and do not know what a true home is. You will never find a more faithful, loyal and appreciative dog. These dogs have been love starved. They are in JHB, but I may have to drive a car down from JHB soon. Tessa, a three year old Boerboel x Pitbull is up for adoption. She is a very friendly, BIG girl that would benefit from lots of walks! Due to her size also someone that can handle her properly. Cape Town 🐾 Reasons to adopt our senior girl PUNCH besides the obvious that's she's just too adorable for words!
1) No potty training 😁 she's been through that puppy stage!
2) Older dogs know right from wrong. Our gorgeous Punch is so well behaved.
3) Less active. Which just means more down chill time to spend cuddling!
4) What you see is what you get! No unexpected surprises with this girl... She is who she is and that's just an all round sweet girl with so much love to give.
PUNCH may be getting up there in years but she still a jig in her step and a crazy love for life. And she's really not asking for much....
A home with a family to adore and be adored in return. A leisurely walk every known again, a small garden where she gets to potter around and enjoy the sunshine. And at the end of a busy day, a comfy bed she can curl up in and dream beautiful dreams. Punch would be best suited as an only dog and no cats, she's really not a fan at all.

Brandy and Brute. Brother and sister pair are up for adoption. They are pitbull crosses. They will be 5 months old on the 7th of April. They will need a big yard to play. They are socialized with other dogs and children. Will only be adopted out to families with older children. Also proper meet and greets if there are other dogs. ADOPTED: Jake, one of the most beautiful staffies i have ever seen is up for adoption. A very lively, friendly boy that would need a nice big garden to play and lots of walkies! He has a wonderful nature so other dogs will be fine. A male alpha would worry me though. I would love him to go to a family that have kids that love animals too. This boy has lots of love to give. Jake is 3 years old and the adoption fee is R1350..00
