Come and spend a weekend in the countryside on a farm in Grabouw...

Book self-catering Hope Cottage for the weekend or come visit during the week.

The cottage sleeps 2 adults and 2 children (or 4 adults) comfortably.

You can spend the weekend enjoying a log fire indoors or braaiing outdoors on a covered stoep. We will provide you with firewood and our helpful on-site staff will even make the fire for you if you prefer.

If you’re a cat lover this is definitely the place for you as the farm operates as a cat sanctuary. The proceeds of Hope Cottage go towards sustaining this animal welfare project TUFCAT

Bring your kids and (cat-friendly) dogs. We provide dog bowls and treats. You can walk your dogs on the farm and there is also an enclosed garden for their safety.

HOPE COTTAGE (Grabouw, Western Cape)

Make some memories at this unique animal and family-friendly place. Hope Cottage is situated on a farm in Grabouw that operates as a cat sanctuary. The income generated from the cottage is used to sustain the rescued animals who live on the farm (tufcat.co.za)

There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a kind size bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge. There is an indoor fire-place for cold, winter evenings. A big patio with a built-in braai with complementary firewood is perfect for enjoying the peaceful farm setting. A completely secure, enclosed garden is available for visiting pets.

There are 4 x 4 routes, hikes, mountain bike & motocross trails on our doorstep. The Elgin Railway Market and Peregrine and Orchard Farmstall are all petfriendly venues and are well worth a visit when in the area. Other attractions include the Cape Canopy Tour and various wine farms.
