What to do when you see a bird hit on the road in front of you... Try stop in a safe place... Pick it up... Keep it warm.... Sometimes they die... But some are just stunned... Keep it close to your body for warmth, the put it in a box with ventilation but warm with hot water bottle or wheat bag.... Give a it a bit of glucose water with a syringe .... Within a few hours they are ready to return to the wild...its best to avoid the stress of captivity... If not keep them a night or take to freeme... Today I saved a little birds life on the r103.... I turned around as I could see he was still alive... And the rest of the flock were trying to save him...I did what I suggest above and he flew off an hour later.... In the same area I found him.... Hope he meets up with his family tomorrow. No one should be left to die alone... And everyone deserves a second chance at life...
