Meet Frida, our special girl for the 6th day of Women’s Month! 🐾

Frida has captured our hearts with her love for people and her endless cuddles. She’s amazing with other dogs and just adores being around humans.

Found in Tongaat with her babies, Frida bravely protected them during the terrible Tornado storm. She’s an incredible dog with a heart full of love, just waiting to share it with her forever family. And she’s BEAUTIFUL.

Introducing Harmony, our beautiful 1-year-old mixed breed girl who is still waiting for her forever family. Harmony arrived at Paw Prints Rescue and Rehoming at just 5 weeks old with her litter, and we can’t believe she’s still here!

This special girl loves to play and is friendly with the other teens. You can find her down in our play park, where she would make the pawfect companion for any pack.

Harmony is a beautiful teenage dog who would fit well in any loving home. Please come meet her and see for yourself how wonderful she is.

The notion that dogs can only see black, white, & various shades of gray is incorrect. The truth is, while dogs can’t see the same colours as humans do, they can still see some colours.
Here’s why: like humans, dogs have both rods and cones (types of cells in the retina which detect light & motion, and colours ), but unlike humans, dogs only have two types of cones which only allows them to discern blue and yellow.

When desperation turns to hope… On Thursday morning we ventured back to our factory to see if there was anything left to salvage….we could not believe our eyes! We were met by a group filled with family, friends and complete strangers who were all there, volunteering their valuable time, to assist us, and others in our complex, to clean up after what can only be described as a nightmare of a week. After 3 hours of relentless clearing, cleaning and conversations, our factory held some semblance of normality again. We cannot express our gratitude enough to all those who came out to assist - we are thankful to each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts - you have turned our desperation into hope, and we look forward to rebuilding and regrowing our business, making it better than before!
