Our Story
We create custom Kangaroo leather dog show leads, bracelets and whistle lanyards in South Africa. We only use the finest kangaroo leather lacing imported from Australia. The leather is prepared, conditioned, braided, rolled & conditioned again to create a very smooth and soft show lead. Leads can be made with a loop or clip end - to attach to your dog’s favourite show collar/chain. Various clip sizes are available to match the size/strength of your dog. We also have a slip lead option with a nickel o-ring at the end and a sliding leather knot so that you can adjust the size of the collar loop. The 15cm hand loop is ample for both large and small hands. Leads can be made with or without beads. Beaded leads contain one or two sets of matching beads. The braided leather continues through the beads to keep the integrity of the lead. Beads are secured by leather knots woven as part of the braid and will not move. All our leads are braided over a core to give it extra strength and to prevent stretching of the leather. Various core options are available. We mostly do custom orders. So if you desire a specific length, special design, more beads, less beads, or a special leather colour combination or beads feel free to ask! All prices exclude postage. Orders can be sent to any destination in South Africa via PostNet counter collection or door-to-door courier - delivery costs starting at R65. International orders are also welcome - shipping from $10 (depending on weight of parcel) with tracking number. We also regularly show our own dogs at KUSA shows throughout South Africa.
