The Ulrich van Pletzen Trust was established to raise funds for kids in need of facial reconstructive surgery.
Ulrich van Pletzen (7) was bitten by a dog (Boerboel) at the age of 4½ when he's mid-face was amputated resulting in severe facial injuries. To date Ulrich has had more than 13 reconstructive medical procedures to his face (some without success) and still has a long road of challenges and operations ahead. It was a Devco Group initiative to set up the Ulrich van Pletzen Trust to raise funds to contribute to the numerous reconstructive operations and medical expenses.
