Dream Breeders celebrates the birth of a new filly!

Dream Breeders is thrilled to announce the safe arrival of a beautiful filly foal born to their club mare Sameeha. The filly is out of Sameeha and was sired by the exciting stallion Digital Age.

Both mare and foal are doing well and are happy and healthy. The filly has already shown great promise and the Dream Breeders team is excited to watch her grow and develop.

This is a wonderful addition to the Dream Breeders Club and we look forward to sharing more updates on the filly's progress in the future.

Our lovely filly. She is out of Digital Age (Invincible Spirit) X Sameeha (Western Winter). She was seen out an about yesterday 12 hours post birth taking her first steps in a paddock. Safe to say she isnt camera shy😁

We are 9 days away from our 1st Foal arriving at Clifton Stud, Rosetta, KZN, maybe less maybe more but we are READY!

Our dream is motivated by the likes of this amazing family and stud farm, who have been proud breeders since 1910 in a very beautiful part of SA, where horses can be horses, in outstanding conditions that prepare them for competition absolutely anywhere. Their seasonal climatic extremes and that of the Karoo is on record as producing some of SA's finest racehorses. And if that is the record plus that none other than the great Mr Ormond Ferraris says he preferred horses raised in this area and the Karoo, then who are we to differ.

It's a tough-tough game breeding is.

Yesterdays' superb Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes winner ECONOMICS, although very well bred, only fetched his breeder 42,000GNS at the sale from none other than AP O'Brien. 11 months later he was sold for 116,000GNS and look at him now!!!

But we all have to dream big!

Gosh, who would not want to breed with this fella in SA. He crosses so nicely with so many bloodlines here in SA, many which seem to be struggling to find their nicks. Would import him in a heartbeat if it was possible, but we gotta dream on.

We get overcome with a youthful exhuberance when a Sale comes around and today the tingly excitement is no different. Cannot wait to see the Sales Drafts go through the ring and disc over who has acquired what for how much.

Seeing what starts out as a fragile awkward looking foal walk into the ring a beautifully developed young horse is always a breathtaking sight.
