The art of camouflage ...
At first glance it may seem there's only one cat in this photo, but there's not ....
Just like big predator cats, our outside kitties can camouflage themselves well.
Their ability to blend into their surroundings depends on their coat color and pattern, as well as the environment they are in. For example, a cat with a tabby or mottled coat can blend in well with areas that have dappled sunlight, leaves, or grass. Similarly, a cat with a grey or brown coat might blend into rocks, dirt, or wooded areas. This natural camouflage helps them avoid predators and hunt more effectively.
