Chatty Harry in the side run catching some sun🌞😻
The tame dumped boy was there at Albert last night, waiting with 2 of his new feral friends😻 - and he let me stroke him but he is nervous. Had a carrier with me but after he ate he disappeared somewhere and I actually thought that it's probably not a great idea to take him in a carrier but rather a trap. Being nervous, he may stress in the carrier and when I get home, moving him from the carrier to the wooden holding cage in the dark might not go so well and I dont want him to get a fright and escape. So, I've brought my old trap today since my other one is out on loan, and I can pop him in there tonight, and if he does stress out he can stay in the trap until tomorrow when he will go straight to the vet for neutering, testing and vacs. There is enough space in the trap to put a small litter tray, food and water if he is difficult to handle once we get home. I need a name for this boy - I have so many gingers I am all out of names. He is def an unneutered Tom. Tomorrow I will get him checked for a chip on the off chance he is lost but I doubt it. He looks to be about 12 - 18 months old. He needs a Bravecto as well because he is covered in ticks poor thing😖
Poppet and the other run kitties say a very big thankyou for the waterbottles ❤😻
Yup it was a very long night and my back feels broken from changing many blankets in the many kennels 😖😫. Bitterly cold, wind chill factor making it even worse - had blue fingers and toes by the time I was done in the run. Poor kitties😪. Waiting to hear from Oscar how badly damaged the fence is from the numerous trees that went down on the property last night - too difficult to check out properly in the dark. Also still waiting to hear from the vets as to what's happening with Mickey mouse - have no idea whether the dental was done yesterday or not 😖 - they were obviously hectic busy yesterday. Pumpkin decided not to stay indoors last night in case I tried to nab him 😖 - silly boy, so again, he managed to evade another vet visit. Many thanks to Anthony for the donation received this morning - desperately short of food again - using double what I usually use because of the cold weather😫. Was a very bumpy ride to work this morning - hit quite a few potholes filled with water last night and lots of debris on the roads - all the funds used to fix the tyres recently 😖 and now it needs to be done again. Roads are just soooo bad. No power at work - more than 24hrs now - work is piling up but limited to what can be done with no electricity. My 3 little boys this morning - Henry, Fudge and Toffee oblivious of the cold- playing up a storm on their tunnel 🤣 too cute to watch ❤.
Baby in the run last night - on her waterbottle😻. Just listen to that purr❤. She is such a cute little girl - to think she was so very feral when I brought her in.
