We are facing substantial difficulties with our daily laundry tasks due to malfunctioning washing machines that fail to spin. Staff, including 65-year-old volunteer Annelie, struggle to wash and dry blankets. Annelie's efforts in carrying wet blankets to the lines for drying are particularly noteworthy. To maintain cleanliness, we need a functional washing machine. We kindly request donations of a reliable washing machine.

On Saturday, 17 November 2024, an emergency call was received regarding a puppy trapped in a pipe. Bokkie and Jacob promptly responded and initiated rescue efforts. Despite initial challenges due to the pipe's underground location, they successfully rescued the puppy after several hours of digging. Congratulations to Bokkie and Jacob on their remarkable rescue operation.
