This is a young and beautiful Boerebull named Boy. He was attacked by his father. Thankfully, his owner , Steve, is caring and responsible and alerted us to the problem. He is now being looked after by the Robberg Vets team who drained his wound, bandage him up and medicated Boy. Looks like he may also be suffering from fractured ribs…poor Boy. We expect a full recovery and will keep a close eye on his progress. Many thanks to Steve for reaching out!🤒🐶

Piper is doing so well! She has even been allowed to go live with foster mom until her forever home is found! You are a true warrior Piper! So many people have your back sweet pea and your life begins now. Piper will be up for adoption in the near (ish) future, please be in touch if you would like to meet her. Little Stitch went to his foster home today! ❤️We spotted this quivering, shaking and starving puppy who couldn’t walk yesterday on our rounds in Kranshoek. After a thorough check up with Dr Stefan at Robberg Vet he is now safe, warm and melting the hearts of his foster parents and their fur kids! Watch this space for further updates...🤗

Tuck is welcomed home in Cape Town! Thank you Kathy and Adrian for driving him up safely and looking after him so well! Thank you Andre and Elaine for welcoming him into your home and Fletcher for being Tucker’s best buddy. We cannot wait to see him flourish!

For anyone wondering how the pitties are doing....😋🙃❤️ Jade (mom) & Willow (daughter) are inseparable and have fattened up a whole lot...no more ribs visible!! 👍🏻 Psychological rehab is ongoing for Willow - she needs lots of patience and time in order to trust human kind again. Thank you sooo much to Colleen and her team from Oudtshoorn Dogs In Need for taking these to beauties on and offering them a second chance. We will continue to check in and update on their progress. If we have any pit bull lovers out there who would consider offering these girls a beautiful ending, please get in touch with us. ❤️❤️❤️

Today was not a Good Friday. What you are seeing here are lice - they were all over her body. We found this poor poor elderly girl in Kranshoek today. We got her to the vet (thank you Pauline) we did have hope... all her bloods came back surprisingly ok.... but then she took her last breath, it was her decision, we didn’t have to make any call. We are so sorry sweet thing. Her story will follow tomorrow. Broken hearted and angry.

Update on Gift, now named Star ⭐️! She has settled so well into her new life. Mom and dad dote on her and her brothers and sisters are allowing her space to adjust. She is getting stronger everyday and absolutely loves all the attention she gets! She is now on special supplements to help with her arthritis and to build muscle. Watch this space for future updates on this sweetheart!

Guess who went to her forever home today? Lulu Rose - now Mya ❤️🐾 she has joined a beautiful pack (incl. 2 other dogs with 3 legs!) she will fit right in. We will keep you updated to how she does! Go well Mya, you are such a beautiful and lively soul. So glad we swept you up off the street!
