As many of you know, our Sheeba recently had surgery done on both eyes, but particularly the one where she had cancer of the 3rd lid.

Sheeba has done well since her surgery. Her eye has remained clear and no bleeding and oozing as before the surgery.

She is a very happy girl and we would love to see her find her own forever home.

A very special lady who actually rescued Sheeba from a busy road in Phoenix and her family have put together this raffle to assist with Sheeba vet bill. Most of Sheebas vet bill has been paid off, however there was a shortfall.

We are most grateful for your kindness and for putting this beautiful hamper together.

Towards the end of last year, we added an additional 4 kennels .

Our builder then went on Christmas break and only returned at the end of February.

When looking at the kennels, we noticed a few concerns, however our Max has addressed those issues and putting our minds to rest.

Although the kennels are not complete, we have running short on IBR roof sheets to complete 2 kennel roofs and the passage.

Unfortunately, depending on which way you look at it, the roofing needs to be a quality material which will last more than several years and not be a waste of money.

We are needing around R5000 to complete this.

If anyone is able to help, we and the rescue dogs would greatly appreciate your help.

Dear Friends

There are 18 beautiful teenage dogs urgently looking for homes.

We have planned an adoption day, however by appointment only.

This is due to a number reasons, but mainly due to trying to keep the dogs calm so not to disturb neighbours.

There has been a complaint against our director for noise levels. Sadly the story stems deeper than what we are sharing.
A story in intimidation, slander and putting a family and dogs at risk of being harmed.
The matter has been handed over and addressed by our legal representative.

Most of the dogs posted here have come to us as pups and never found homes.
They are amazing dogs needing a chance at finding wonderful homes.

Please open your heart and homes to one of these rescue babies who need a lifeline.

Please note all your dogs need to be sterilised and fully vaccinated.

BBB transported these 6 beautiful small dogs up to Jade from Pawprints Rescue. They seemed more settled this morning and was enjoying the ride. Jade will need financial assistance to get these sweethearts vaccinated. If you would like to contribute, please whatsapp Printprints on 060 685 0889.

Yesterday, Sheeba underwent surgery to both her eyes. Dr Webster contacted us later to advise that the surgery went well. He found that the cancer of her third eyelid wasn’t as widely spread as he initially thought. He removed the affected parts which have been sent off for histology. He addressed the other eye successfully. We visited Sheeba last night and spent some time with her. She was full of high spirits and ready to dash through the door to go home. As Sheeba is in kennels we’re didn’t want to leave her unsupervised after surgery. So we organised an overnight stay and she will be coming home this morning. There is a shortfall in our bill of R1000,00. If anyone could assist to settle this, even small donations go a very long way, we would be most grateful. Good Morning Wonderful People This morning we have reflected on this weeks traumatic case involving Dobbie and Warrior and how a whole army of soldiers came together to assist the dogs in varies ways be it support, taking dogs to the vet, donating financially which was a huge help in getting treatment for both dogs, sharing our posts. We just want to outline some criteria of this case. A dog would never hide from an owner who they love. Their feelings don’t lie. After networking both dogs, we had two people come forward to “claim” Warrior. We don’t just hand over a dog without been absolutely sure that the dog actually belongs to the individually claiming the dog. There are lots of questions asked, often put in different ways, we ask for photos of their dogs and so forth. The first person that came forward, was very deceitful. He didn’t respect that Warrior needed to be stabilised before people started coming in to view. He arrived at the vet and fortunately Greg and Jenny were at the vet to assist. The inidividual met Warrior and Warrior didn’t respond. He cowered away from him. He told us his dog was 3 years old and Warrior is merely only 5-6 months old. A small boy who has been through so much. He was still insist Warrior was his dog. No pictures were produced. He was turned away. The second person liased with us yesterday. Their dog was a 18 months old. A mature boy. Yet they were instant to view Warrior. We declined as there was no evidence that Warrior resembled their dog and because they don’t answer the questions we had correctly that slotted in with Warrior. If any criteria resembled Warrior in looks or age, we would be open to them viewing him. Warrior didn’t even respond to the name they gave us. There is other criteria which will not be disclosed incase someone else comes forward. Both Dobbie and Warrior came together from somewhere, they were bonded and we saw this quiet clearly when they went to the vet. Warrior now has a

HISTORY OF THE RISE OF THE BLUE BUNDU BRIGADE 🐾

In February 2019, three dogs escaped from home when a gate had been accidentally left open. Three beautiful power-breeds started to investigate the nature reserve which covered thousands and thousands of square meters of bush and river, a tough terrain.

Two power-breeds where found, but Blue, a boerboel remained lost in the dense bush of the nature reserve in the Dawncliffe, Westville area.
