People find meerkats entertaining and cute, they are kept as pets, which results in them being a nuisance once they start biting. This page is to rescue them.
They are not pets and will bite at some stage. This page is to show the progress and life of rescued and re-homed meerkats that have been placed in the Lucas Outlook Sanctuary. It is also there to assist, advise and take in troubled meerkats from owners who cannot care for them anymore, for whatever reason. No breeding, selling or mistreatment of Meerkats will be allowed. The idea is to have them live their lives out in peace, in a natural environment/habitat and as part of a loving group/clan.
