Because of the lack of natural light exposure? - Yup! Reptiles need exposure to UVB lighting to absorb calcium.

Double-check that your reptile's lighting in their enclosure meets their needs, maintain proper humidity, and avoid drafts.

Top tips:

🫕 Add wet food to your pet’s diet as they drink less water in winter.
💦On cold days, check water bowls: make sure water isn’t frozen!
🤭Stick to high-quality food for energy and a healthy coat.
⚖️Watch weight: Indoor pets may move less.
♨️Warm it up: a little warm water or broth makes meals extra cozy.

💁‍♀️ Hi, I’m Megan – proud paw-rent of 4 fur babies: Lola, Stella, Tuxedo & Alfred P Fluffernut 🐾

Tux and I went shopping at The Queen Pet Shop Menlo Park, and we were both OBSESSED 😍

This isn’t just your average pet store – they cater for every kind of pet… even the exotic, the fluffy, the scaly, and the slightly chaotic 🦜🐍🐇

The staff were amazing, the vibes were immaculate, and yes – Tux found his new favourite toy within a few minutes💛

I very nearly walked out with a cockatiel too, as this has been my dream pet for a number of years 🤭
