Hi Everyone! 🐰 It's been a while hasn't it? Well, there are a few reasons for that - so I thought I'd share what has been going on while we've been so quiet...

Those that know the Njom Njoms family personally will know that in 2018, I met the love of my life in bunny form when I took little Bordeaux for a bunny speed date with The Lonehill Bunnies. Guinness, a BIG eared giant mix (formerly and aptly named Dumbo) stole both Bordeaux and my hearts almost instantly and quickly became a big part of the Njom Njoms family.
Guinn helped us foster a few sets of baby buns from Bunny Tales Rescue and after Bordeaux passed, quickly found a new girlfriend in our first foster-fail with Petal. ❤️

Last year June, my heart absolutely shattered when we discovered a tumour on his lungs and Guinness took his last breath in the caring hands of BAESAC.
As many of our followers and customers will know, a bunny (like many pets) is not just an animal - they somehow end up burrowing their way into your heart and soul and make the most trying of days bearable. All you need is a silent nose bump and request for head tickles and nothing seems quite so bad.
Losing Guinness was a harder blow than I expected it to be and running Njom Njoms turned into a gigantic mountain that I just couldn't figure out how to climb. So when I started having issues with our website, I took it as a sign from the universe to quietly take a little break and give my heart a chance to heal. ❤️‍🩹

Although I still tear up at the mention of Guinness (this was a very hard post to write), I'm happy to let all our fur-ends and customers know that our online store is FINALLY back online and this huge mountain now seems like more of a mild hill.
The Njom Njoms family has changed and grown quite a bit in the last year - we inherited 2 gorgeous little rats named Ice Cream and Yum Yum recently! All advice and recommendations are welcome! 🐭🐭

Hey Fur-ends! 
It’s been a little while since we posted and touched base with everyone, but don’t worry - we are still here and filling every box and order with binky worthy goodness quietly behind the scenes. 💙

We’re constantly changing and adapting to what works best for our furry clients and their humans (that’s you reading this) so if you ever have feedback or suggestions, we’re all ears over on our email ([email protected]). 



A touch of bad news - our courier partner, The Courier Guy, has given us notice of a rate change due to the increase in petrol price. Their base rate is going up by R10 all round. So whether you’re shipping locally (Gauteng) or nationally, we will be increasing the courier fee by R10 at the end of this week. Note that courier fees are a direct charge from the courier, there’s nothing added or gained by us.
 While we are always looking at different ways to get your goodies to you, due to the physical size of our average parcel, these rates tend to be the best possible option. Cheaper options are usually aimed at small packages which just isn’t our goodies. 



We don’t have a physical store front but you can arrange to collect from us at our workshop in Broederstroom, Hartbeespoort by appointment (we have a fabulous bistro and coffee shop on our farm, The Rusty Feather, with river views and delicious breakfasts and hot chocolate so make a day trip of it!).
