We are the official South African resellers of GlasGarten, SaltyShrimp, Shirakura and Mironekuton products, as well as the official South African distributors of Genchem Biotechnology products. Our goal is to grow the hobby within South Africa, by offering locally bred and healthy shrimp, as well as all the necessary products required in shrimp keeping. We are committed to assisting our customers

in making the right choices and having successful experiences in the hobby. We offer a wide range of products, including shrimp food, minerals and additives, natural products, treatments for shrimp tank pests, as well as other aquarium accessories. To ensure that we only offer the best products available in the trade, ShrimpCity will only sell products that we have used and had success with. We will only sell products that we ourselves believe in. This gives us the unique ability to provide personal experiences on all of the products available on our website, should customers have queries about their value or general use.

|Shipping|

We currently offer shipping on all Shrimp Products. This is done through Speed Services Couriers, and your goods are delivered to your door. Shipping of products normally takes 2 days (if you order on Monday, goods will be delivered by Wednesday), however delivery may be longer if orders are made closer to the weekend. Pricing is dependent on the size of your order and delivery location, but ranges between R150 and R250. We also offer collection of goods in Fourways, Johannesburg. Once your order is placed we will contact you to discuss delivery. Unfortunately livestock is currently only offered for collection, as we have yet to identify a reliable same day courier that we are satisfied could provide successful same day delivery between provinces.

|Payment|

For local collections payment is cash on delivery. For shipment of products, payment is offered via EFT.

Our new order of SL-Aqua 淞亮 has arrived, with old favourites and some new products for South Africa. MORE GH Conditioner for Caridina Shrimp is in stock in 250ml & 500ml bottles - it is our personal go to remineraliser.

All bacteria powders are also back in stock, as well as Bing Tsau ST - a shrimp safe plant fertilizer specifically designed for shrimp tanks!

Update: Our upgraded online store is now up and running, and we have a wide range of products back in stock, as well as some new exciting products (Snail Safe, Snail Dinner, Mineral Hearts etc).

To celebrate the relaunch, the first twenty customer orders will receive a free packet of our soon to be launched Shrimp Lollies. There are ten lollies per pack and currently 5 different flavour packs available (Walnut, Mulberry, Spinach, Spirulina, Moringa).
