Dear Pawsitive Pets Clients

Some SUPER IMPORTANT changes over on our end coming up.

Unfortunately, due to some very difficult personal matters that has transpired over on my end, it has sadly taken a toll on my small little business and our teams. Currently we are working through it and have decided to add an additional admin to assist with the flow of bookings and other tasks.

HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING:
Each area that we service now has their own unique email address that can be used, however I still have access to the main email account, so either way, your communication will reach us and it will be attended to ASAP.

Dear Pawsitive Family

It’s been a helluva bumpy past year (perhaps longer) and as I struggle through the many sleepless nights. I have decided to open up and share something personal.

As some of you might have realised a decline in my response rate, this has been a direct result of my struggle with crippling anxiety (I suspect depression of some level as well) and other personal matters that has been weighing me down mentally. It’s reached a point where I’m forced to withdraw just to be able to function through a stressful day.

I’m sharing this not to seek pity/ sympathy, but rather as an apology for the poor communication. For those that have been loyal Pawsitive Pets clients know that I’ve always tried my best to communicate promptly and to assist with booking enquiries, and it pains me to admit that I have not been able to give my best.

My current circumstances has directly influenced my service delivery, and knowing this is adding additional stress… which as you know is just a vicious cycle.

I need your help now more that ever before💛

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Please try and communicate bookings in advance if possible
- Please send me a reminder if I havent responded to a booking request, I am doing my utmost best to catch up and follow through
- Please leave a review for our services if you have not yet done so
- Please be patient as I am actively seeking assistance to improve

And lastly… please SHARE our page with all friends/ family that you think might require pet care services - we have an amazing team and they are always happy to assist (pending availability of course). I know there is light at the end of the tunnel and things will get better soon.

My name is Voël, sometimes the damn bird. I am now 8 years old. This is my 6th home in my 8 years. I remember my first 2 years of life as if it were yesterday because it's all that keeps me clinging to life, hoping my Mom will come for me one day. Mom and I were inseparable. We played together, laughed together, and she made the tastiest food for me. I went "shopping" with her, picking out my own fruits and vegetables for the week. Mom would spoil me with delicious treats, and every Saturday was our cheat day when we enjoyed cheese curls together. Three at a time. I could roam freely in the house, and at the end of each month, Mom would come home with a new toy for me. Mom said, "Every prince deserves a little gift when they're as sweet as you."

One day, Mom didn't come home. I heard she was sick, and I had to stay with her friend for a week. That week turned into a year. A year spent waiting for Mom. She never came for me. Mom was gone. I was forgotten in a corner. I had to learn to eat black seeds that made me very sick. The brown beans smelled musty, but I had to eat or starve.

So I began to wander. Everyone always wanted to know, "Can he talk?" or "Does he bite?" Sometimes I had to entertain visitors with my tricks, and then everyone would say, "Oh, we want a parrot too!" Other times, I was screamed at to shut up, and shoes were thrown at me.

My once palace-like cage was traded for a tiny, filthy cage. I was "sentenced to life imprisonment for a crime I didn't commit." I chewed on my sticks out of boredom and was scolded for it. A piece of steel was shoved into my cage, scraping blisters on my feet. I was forgotten outside, in heat and cold. Days without water, and when I did get water, it was muddy. I no longer knew what a clean cage was, suffocating in my own waste.

Today I am in my 8th home. I'm beaten with sticks through the bars. I'm taunted. I'm tired, and I grabbed the child and bit him. The mother slapped me so hard on the head it felt like my eyes would pop out.

I feel sick. I struggle to breathe. The man's smoke burns my chest. I don't want to live anymore. I'm sentenced to a punishment I'm innocent of. All I wanted was your love. You measured love by costs and work. I don't really want to bite you, but I can't trust a human hand anymore. I am terrified and scared.

I pluck my feathers because I am sick. I am dying... I pray to God and ask Him please God, come take me... I can't fight anymore. I don't have the strength. Slowly, I am sentenced to a torturous death...

Dear Pawsitive Pets clients

Can we kindly ask that all booking invoices be paid as per the scheduled date reflecting on the invoice. We simply cannot finalize bookings that have not been honored with payment by the due date.

Over the past few months we have had to deal with so many overdue balances, especially those from the December holidays, and this is not fair towards our pet sitters.

Going forward, should an invoice for booked services not be paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking / refuse services in future.

Please communicate any special arrangements with regards to payment directly with the Admin Department (Desiré).
