To celebrate Mandela Day, the Northcliff Lions Club proudly supported Us with a significant donation. They contributed R3000 worth of dog and cat food, and their partners at PNP Heathway matched their donation with a generous R3000 gift card. Thanks to the incredible combo buy specials at PNP, they were able to purchase over R7000 worth of products, receiving a R1000 combo buy discount in the process. As part of their donation, we obtained 18 x 8kg bags of dry dog food, 30 tins of wet dog food, 8 x 4kg bags of cat food, and 4 x 12 pack wet cat food. We were assisted by the fantastic staff at PNP, specifically Lucky, Lahliwe, and Tebogo, who made the shopping experience and handover seamless. On Friday, July 14th at 2pm, we arrived to receive the donation of food from The Lions Club International Foundation in Northcliff. We cannot express our gratitude. The Lions Club truly believe in serving the local community, and we extend our gratitude to Karin from PNP head office, and all the staff at Heathway PNP for supporting their noble cause.

Dear Supporters
On a recent visit to Diepsloot Township, we discovered these 3 adorable puppies(seen in video), living in horrific conditions.
They were obviously suffering from a condition called rickets due to severe malnutrition which is often made worse by an infestation of worms in puppies as well as an insufficient diet.
One pup could not even stand up and we were doubtful if he could be saved. We took them to our vet who treated them and prescribed a specialized diet.
To our surprise, all 3 made a miraculous recovery at our shelter! They will soon be ready for their forever homes, please contact us if you can offer a puppy a good home.

FOSTER FOUND
This poor baby is Chester, he is in desperate need of a foster mom or dad.. He was rescued by a family that desperately wanted our help but upon returning him.. They decided he wasn't worth the love and care that he so desperately needs..😢 Furious at this we took him in..
He can barely see because of the eye infection he has and his skin is crusty and dry.. We need someone willing enough to give this cutie the one on one attention he needs..
He needs to be bathed every 2nd day with a special shampoo to make his Grey coat beautiful again.. With our staff members being swamped with the duties it makes it difficult to give him the attention he needs.. 🥺
